About Liz Berzas

Liz Berzas purchased this Estate in 2011
Why Liz Berzas chose Uptown
Location! Location! Location! An architectural beauty that is so close to great shops, restaurants, transportation, the French Quarter, Audubon Zoo, Tipitina's, the Universities and many, many more fantastic sites. This house is also on the parade route which is priceless!
What makes this Estate unique
Imagining the period in time in which this house and area were built. The craftsmanship is quite amazing; plaster trip, medallions and archways pay great attention to detail. The house is so convenient to so many venues that there's never a dull moment.

Fantastic big classic house with great front porch!
Fantastic! Very cool house with a porch that we spent time on every morning and evening. Easy uber ride to the fairgrounds for jazzfest. Good eats on St. Charles and magazine. Thanks so much. We’ll see you in a year or two!
Great place, great location!
This house has it all: charm, elegance, comfort, and location, location, location! Our family of 6 enjoyed a wonderful stay here. It is within easy walking distance of Magazine Street and also the St. Charles trolley line, which takes you straight into the French Quarter. Liz was very prompt in answering any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again on our next NOLA adventure.
We had the most incredible time in NOLA! Such a charming house that was fit to accommodate a large group. Highly recommend this home if visiting New Orleans!
Loved this house
We loved this house it worked out perfectly for us.There were 8 including my grandson who was 16months old. He loved the porch and yard. The air conditioning was wonderful. The house was clean, the beds were comfy and everything including the washer and dryer were so nice to have for a large family gathering. We cooked some times and the big table was a bonus so we could all be together but excape each other in our bedrooms. Location was great quick to Magazine street and close to the street car. Its probably a good 45min to Canal street but it was fun going back and forth on the street car. We did in the evening take Uber. If I ever get to come back I would stay here again and I would recommend it to everyone. The owners live below and were helpful but not in your way. We did have some problem for an afternoon with the internet but we left the next morning so we didn't worry. Only complaint would be the early 10am check out time. I understand they need to clean but wow thats hard to get up and get that many people up and out that early. But we did it!!! Our flights weren't until 6pm so we had to take our luggage to a friends hotel and then we just hung out. But the house is worth evey penny and it worked perfectly for us.
We are so glad you had a great time at our home. We would have given you a late check out if you had requested it. There must have been a lot of traffic on the street car line because we are only 3 miles away from Canal street. It would be a pleasure to have you back.
Great Experience, would use again.
This is a large and well laid out home. We brought a group here for a short bachelor party, and the place was everything we were hoping for. It's in a great part of New Orleans on its own, and not far from anything you might be into doing. Communication with the owners via email brought a quick response. We tried to take good care of it in our brief time, and the owners didn't play games with our security deposit. So, pretty much a win on all fronts.
Couldn't be happier
Spent an amazing girls bachelorette weekend based out of the top floor unit of the Napoleon house. It makes an amazing first impression - it was incredibly spacious. High ceilings, an upgraded kitchen, antique touches (like stained glass) and massive bathrooms perfect for a large group of ladies! It was the perfect home base to spend a weekend celebrating my sister. The location was great - a short cab to the French Quarter and our group spent a lot of time wandering all the great shops and restaurants on Magazine Street. We took a random turn off Magazine and discovered NOLA brewing on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The dining room was perfect for the whole group of 10 to sit down for gift giving and drinks. Thank you so much to Liz and Mary for their hospitality and the handwritten note thanking us for our stay. Great service, great hosts, don't hesitate- book this place!
Great views, close to fantastic eateries, snowballs, antiques, music, the mighty Mississippi River, and so many more possibilities.
