Built in the late 1870's, this grand antebellum is one of New Orleans finest in architectural design. Imagine yourself in the late 1800's living in a southern antebellum mansion that boasted the finest in European chandeliers, iron work and stained glass windows, all along an oak tree lined avenue.

This home has the finest of furnishings in close proximity to the St. Charles streetcar line that can take you from the Central Business District, French Quarter or to the the Uptown are that includes Audoban Park and Tulane and Loyola Universities. Come enjoy one of the greatest American cities that welcome tourist's as if it were your home 'somewhere in time'.

Given the architectural beauty of this home, the bedrooms are expansive with large doors and windows, and tall ceilings. What is gorgeous about this unit is after walking through the leaded front doors, there is the expanse of a plaster archway that adjoins the living and dining room into a double parlor. Great Experience, would use again.

This is a large and well laid out home. We brought a group here for a short bachelor party, and the place was everything we were hoping for. It's in a great part of New Orleans on its own, and not far from anything you might be into doing. Communication with the owners via email brought a quick response. We tried to take good care of it in our brief time, and the owners didn't play games with our security deposit. So, pretty much a win on all fronts.

Couldn't be happier

Spent an amazing girls bachelorette weekend based out of the top floor unit of the Napoleon house. It makes an amazing first impression - it was incredibly spacious. High ceilings, an upgraded kitchen, antique touches (like stained glass) and massive bathrooms perfect for a large group of ladies! It was the perfect home base to spend a weekend celebrating my sister. The location was great - a short cab to the French Quarter and our group spent a lot of time wandering all the great shops and restaurants on Magazine Street. We took a random turn off Magazine and discovered NOLA brewing on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The dining room was perfect for the whole group of 10 to sit down for gift giving and drinks. Thank you so much to Liz and Mary for their hospitality and the handwritten note thanking us for our stay. Great service, great hosts, don't hesitate- book this place!

Wonderful Historic Home. Great Location!

My family of ten stayed at the house over the holidays. It was perfect for us. Plenty of room for everyone. It was an unusually warm Christmas and we were able to take advantage of the large front porch. The location was perfect. It's just a couple of blocks from the streetcar for access to the quarter. Magazine street is just a block away with great shops and restaurants. This is a great location if you want to do more walking than driving. The owners were very helpful throughout the whole process. Love this place!

The Napoleon House is AWESOME!!!

My family of 20 stayed for my brother’s 30 birthday in September. We rented both the upstairs and downstairs units of The Napoleon House. The house is beautiful and very spacious for 20 people to stay. Every couple basically had their own room and the rooms were very spacious. Check-in and check-out was very easy. My family also loved that the owners gave a little background story of the house too!! Perfect house for a large group to stay together!! We LOVED it!!

Location is perfect!! Just a two minute walk to the Streetcar which makes getting to the Quarter very easy. Definitely would stay here again!!

Great spot!

This is a wonderful place to stay in NOLA. We had 5 couples for Jazz Fest and there was plenty of space. You can't beat the location which allows you to walk to several good restaurants. We were able to tour the other apt upstairs and it was just as beautiful so I think you can't go wrong in either one.
