About this property

This beautiful lakefront home has everything you need for your summer fun. Enjoy beautiful views of the lake from the panoramic windows of the great room. Barbecue on the expansive sundeck overlooking the quiet cove. Because of our unique location we have breath-taking views of both sunrises and sunsets.

Great fishing right off the dock, and swimming on your private beach.

In addition to 2 bedrooms, there is a large recreation room/den which sleeps six, and is complete with a pool table and games for hours of entertaining. A fully-equipped kitchen including electric cooktop, two ovens plus microwave, coffee machine, blender and abundant counter space opens into the dining room and living room, with its vaulted ceilings, fireplace with 65 inch LCD TV, and wall of windows overlooking the spacious sundeck patio and lake.

Amenities include a barbecue grill, (you supply charcoal), outdoor tile dining table with an umbrella, lounge chairs, central heat, digital cable, high speed Internet, washer and dryer, dishwasher, linens and pillows.

Be sure to visit Calistoga and the beautiful Napa Valley. Enjoy mud baths, fine dining, and wine-tasting at the world's best wineries. Take a misty morning, hot air balloon ride; or go biking, hiking, fishing, or boating.

Not for boats and trailers

This place is advertised with a boat dock that is falling apart. There are no boat chalks or tie downs. I had to tie boat to main dock piling. After the wind came up at 25 miles an hour the rear rope was wore in two on a steel cable and the my 20’ Duckworth’s front end was smashed up against the dock all night and did about 3500.00 dollars worth of damage. Not only is the dock old and wore out the drive way coming into the property is not meant for boat trailers. We had two boats and had to make 5-6 point turns to get the boat into the driveway. The driveways are leaning and we almost rolled both of our boats. When it started raining there is no way you will get your boat out of the driveway without 4-wheel drive. Other than boat and trailer problems the property was ok. Could not find trash bins where they said they were. There is no way any VRBO I have stayed in makes you take your own trash with you. The pictures on the site have to be 20 years old because the place hasn’t been remodeled since the seventies. This place would be fine if the weather was perfect and you spent all your time outdoors.

Lake view was beautiful

We were pleased with the home, the view and the grounds. Five adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs were very comfortable. Furniture was nice, there was plenty of dishes, silverware and pots and pans. The owners were super nice and very helpful. We would most definitely stay here again

Awesome fishing trip

We had a great time at Patricia's place. The house was nice and clean. There was enough parking for 5 trucks with trailers. We brought kayaks and was able to launch from the house. The boat dock was nice, great for fishing. Overall we had an awesome time and will book with Patricia again

Great stay

The location was great. It was about 20 minutes away from stores and stuff but tucked away on a point right in the lake. The last bit of the road was a little difficult but I had a pickup and a jeep so no problem for me.

Great view of the lake

The pictures are accurate, the backyard goes directly into the lake. Great view of lake, the house was good size, well kept but little outdated. We arrived at night it was very dark, it was hard to see the house from the road. You have to drive a 1/4 miles or less on a dirt road. It has pool table, games, foosball table didn't have a ball to play. Some lights were not working, but there were enough lamps in the house to illuminate the rooms. The trash needs to be dropped in the pave road uphill, we never found the bins, maybe a map will help, but also it doesn't seem reasonable to ask people not familiar with the area to take trash uphill in the dirt road. Overall nice place to relax and enjoy the lake, if you don't know the area I' would suggest arrive and leave while there is sunlight

Why they chose this property

We chose this home after looking at properties all around the lake. We wanted to be able to tie our boat at our own dock and enjoy immediate access to the lake without going through channels to get there. We wanted no street between us and the water, and to feel like we were getting away rather than crammed next to a close neighbor.

What makes this property unique

The spacious patio sundeck overlooking the lake is party central with the barbeque, dining table with umbrella, lounge chairs, and is surrounded by plants flowers and potted palms. The unique position of this house allows us to see beautiful sunrises, enjoy shade in the afternoon, and sunsets from the dock. The vaulted ceiling in the great room give a feeling of space that most other homes we looked at did not have.
