Cypress Dunes will be providing free shuttle service to beaches and 30A communities this summer through the Sunshine Turtle Express. Leave the driving to others and enjoy all that 30A has to offer, including restaurants at Gulf Place, Blue Mountain Beach, Seaside and beyond. Also, don't forget the free summer Sunday concert series at the nearby Gulf Place outdoor amphitheater.
Scenic Route 30A is a special location offering visitors a unique coastal experience. This beach community distinguishes itself from the others with a picturesque array of different architectural styles, superb seafood restaurants and pubs. The entire length and breadth of 30A is to be experienced! On the west-end of the route lies Cypress Dunes vacation community offering an absolutely peaceful setting. This “park like” atmosphere is a result of the surrounding Topsail Hill Preserve State Park on two sides and our vacation home. “On Cypress Pond” overlooks a 200 hundred year old cypress head forever preserved as a wetland. We enjoy our morning coffee in the shade of the upper level back porch overlooking the cypress pond. For our viewing and listening pleasure, we watch the many birds fly by as the clouds move through a blue sky with the tall cypress and pine trees in the foreground. The front porch is for evening cocktails when the sun has moved to the backside. Mojitos anyone?
Another thing that makes Cypress Dunes enjoyable among the Scenic Route 30A communities is the infinity pool and clubhouse that overlooks Topsail Hill Preserve and the Gulf of Mexico - a facility that rivals any resort pool. Our favorite beach is next door at the Park where it is less crowded and an easy bike ride. As part of your stay, it is worthwhile to visit each of the beaches along Scenic Route 30A where public access is readily available. These are great beaches for people watching and admiring the many gorgeous beach homes along the shore.
“On Cypress Pond” is a two-story Floridian style beach cottage with the living space on the upper level to better enjoy the views. As with most of the homes in Cypress Dunes, it was built by John Willis, winner of Atlanta’s 2005 best builder award. The home sleeps 8-10 with four bedrooms and a sleeper sofa in the great room. The bedrooms have their own bathrooms and include 1 king, 2 queens and 1 full bed; three of the bedrooms have tv’s. The dining table is situated in the center of an open floor plan and seats 8 people. The chef of the family will enjoy a stocked kitchen accented with gorgeous granite countertops with stainless steel appliances, gas stove, microwave and dishwasher. The Great Room is furnished with a set of comfy sofa and chairs that overlooks a gas fireplace and 50” plasma high definition television with a blue-ray player for your movie enjoyment.
Come enjoy all that Scenic Route 30A has to offer and stay at “On Cypress Pond” where you can begin and end your day in peace and tranquility with family and friends.
