Wonderful family getaway!

  • 5 of 5

I have been coming up to Minocqua since I was little and I wanted to bring my kids up for the same great memories. The cabin has the perfect Northwoods feel and very clean! My kids loved it! Netflix on the TV was a big hit for the moms and kids. The beds were super comfortable, everyone slept so well. Mick, who manages the cabin was absolutely the BEST. He went out of his way to take us out on the lake and show the kids things all over on the water. He definitely went the extra mile to make us feel at home and make sure we all had a good time. We will for sure be back! My kids can't wait to "go fast on the boat" with "Mr. Mick" again!

A fantastic experience because of the management and the cabin was great too.

  • 5 of 5

Mick, the person who owns the cabin, was always checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. However, he made time after long day to teach my little girl to water ski. He made this trip a lifetime memory for my children and we will be back.

If you stay here, you will enjoy it, and if you have kids, you will never forget your time here.

What an absolutely amazing place to spend a summer retreat! It is so peaceful and beautiful, the perfect place to relax by the lake enjoying a gorgeous view and the peaceful sounds of the loons. The lakes are quiet, beautiful and wonderful for swimming and relaxing. The birch trees are so beautiful that they will call you to the woods for invigorating hikes and berry picking. We had an amazing time last summer enjoying the wonderful days and the fireside nights. The starry skies entertained us as we sat by the campfire and shared stories and made new family memories. We looked forward to the town trips to enjoy shopping, fudge and ice-cream outings and wonderful restaurants. We anxiously await the chance to head back up north for a repeat of last summer's adventure!!! .

Nice and quiet...just what we needed.

The log cabin is right on the lake. We caught a bunch of fish, the kids loved swimming at the beach and we loved the sound of the loons... The stars at night were amazing out on the dock.
