About Dana

Beach Lover!

Dana purchased this condo in 2005

Why Dana chose Wailea

My family has owned the property as a fun beach getaway. We have kept the unit in near original condition. It really is about the comfort and proximity than anything else. We just remodeled the shower and replaced the carpet.

What makes this condo unique

Beach Close, Pool Close, Sound of the ocean in every room. Now get out of the condo and enjoy the island!!!

Great place, clean, comfortable, walking distance to the beach

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. Found some spices and grilled fish on the balcony grill. Enjoyed the shade on the balcony through 2 pm!

Slight concern is the workers maintains the condominium land would get together at the hub building right next to the bedroom window talk and smoke at 6:30 am. Overall, great experience!

Quiet charming condo, fabulous beach

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in 19D for four nights in May 2017, and everything was great. You can see the ocean from the kitchen and the lanai, and hear the waves on the beach in the quiet of the night. The landscaping makes it feel as though you're in a private retreat, even though there are seven or eight condos that open on to the same space. We ran the AC the first night to cool off the condo, but otherwise left the many many windows open, and the breezes and ceiling fans kept us absolutely comfortable. Everything was clean and worked, there was a little coffee in the cupboard to get us started the first morning, the wireless internet was speedy, and Chad was great about answering our questions. (Ok, so I'm a bit picky about pillows, and would've preferred newer ones -- and it's probably time for the owners to retire their CD-based sound system -- but that's about it.) Fitbit says it's 500 steps to the beach, curving along the Ekahi sidewalks -- and Keawakapu beach is my favorite in the whole wide world.

VERY COMFORTABLE ACCOMODATIONS!

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Ekahi Village. The condo was conveniently located to everything we wanted - the shops, the beaches, the Wailea Beach Walk. It was easy to access, and parking was right there. The condo was well-equipped and all that we needed was supplied. There did seem to be something amiss with the TV speakers, as we could barely hear anything because of a loud buzz . I would assume this would be fixed. Also, the condo could use a really good cleaning. There were stains on the carpet when we first entered, and the walls were in need of a cleaning and paint job. Maybe I'm particular, but I like a place I rent to be really immaculate. Otherwise, it was truly fine, the owner conscientious (she called to make sure we were all right when there was flash flooding one evening) and the caretaker answered our call to find out how we could access a parking sticker with the management office closed for the weekend. (Our plane was delayed several hours on a Friday night.) He assured us we could wait until Monday to obtain the parking permit without concern.

Owner's Response: Aloha Sharon, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am quite surprised and concerned by the comment of the stains on the carpet, the unit needing a good cleaning as well as the TV speakers. This is the first we are hearing of your concerns. We rely on our caretaker to provide have the unit in good working order when guests arrive. I appreciate knowing this and will take it up with him. Mahalo

Beautiful condo, perfect location

Spent ten nights here and had a wonderful time. Ocean sounds, beautiful grounds, easy Hawaiian vacation. Thoughtful condo owner provides shampoos and soaps and 'clean up' stuff. We will be back.
