Elinnanda Luxury Holiday Apartments, is located in the Grand Anse golf course area. We did not make it snappy, 'we made it home', and is secluded for quiet relaxation.
Our Kitchen is equipped with all the modern amenities that affords cooking and entertaining. Each bedroom is spacious and cozy with its own tv and self control air conditioner. Each apartment is fully air conditioned, with wireless internet, cable, radio, DVD/CD player, Washer and dryer. There are also two private balconies to each apartment, where you can enjoy the cool intoxicating evening breeze.
We are five minutes away from beautiful Grand Anse Beach with many aquatic sports, reef diving, whale and dolphin watching. Exactly As In Pictures - Vehicle Strongly Recommended
This is a four plex apartment unit, 2 up 2 down and all units are 2 bedroom, great place for large family units travelling together. The apartment is well equipped with all appliances and table/bed /bath linens etc. Particularly loved the insuite laundry room fully equipped. I would have liked an outdoor clothes line or drying rack for clothes/towels (think green!) but understand that could detract from the building appearance.
We started our 2 months without a vehicle figuring We would walk the 5 minutes to the beach. Downhill to the beach and wearing my Fitbit 15 minutes, easy peasy. However, heading back from the beach all sandy and salty, carrying beach bag and wet towels, very difficult and straight up a steep, narrow winding road straight up to golf course, 30 minutes.
The property manager, Cheriann was quick to respond to our questions and helped us with getting a doctor when we were unsure what to do next. She helped us arrange car rental and even accompanied us to the police station to get our local driving permits. She is a true compassionate lady that will help you with whatever is required. Thank you for everything.
We did complain to Cherriann about the dogs barking across the road where the property owners across the road (40 feet away) that face our balconies had 5 full size Labrador retrievers and an equal number of pups in a fenced compound surrounding that property. Their barking would go on for hours at times and no one ever would come outside to calm the animals or see what the issue was. I was informed that police contacted the owners to warn them about the noise bylaw and it helped for a couple days but it really was awful that we would have to close all the windows and turn the air on just to dull the chronic barking across the road. The odd rooster or bah bah from the sheep was never bothersome, it is the charm of the island.
The Glads are a wanderful couple wo came to grenada for the first time, but one could not tell becsuse they fit in nicely. They enjoyed the local dishes and the beach. It was my pleasure meeting and being of service to them. hope to see you again.
Grenada is beautiful with lovely people. Attractive appealing building in a quiet area
Were met at the airport by Cherry-Ann, the manager, a friendly supportive obliging lady. Apartment is not too far from Grand Anse Beach. Walking to the beach and back was fine via steep hill 5-10min. Friendly neighbours. The phone is a great idea. The sign outside stating the name of the apartment needs to be secured. Garden - beautifully maintained. Some guests did not lock the gate behind them, there are stray (harmless) dogs around. One guest smoked on the veranda which wafted into our veranda. I understand that guests should smoke in the garden. The veranda had cobwebs; required a once over before our arrival. The cushions for the seats in the veranda were dirty. I shared upstairs apartment 2 with my brother & his partner Not all light bulbs were working which was soon rectified by Cherri-Ann. The fridge appeared to be working fine. However, we realised when we put 3 tubs of ice-cream in the freezer that although water froze for ice, our ice cream melted, becoming like a smoothie. The water for ice then began to take longer to freeze - Cherry-Ann again was prompt. Not long afterwards the fridge began to make this terrible noisy sound and felt hot on the outside. Any cooked food left in the fridge smelt off the following day and the water no longer froze to make ice. Cherry-Ann was informed yet had not been provided with a master key by the owner and could not gain access unless we were present. I had her access key as I and my brother with his partner sometimes went out separately. We could not remain in once again for the electrician; we decided nothing could be done about it. It was near the time of the end of our vacation, we threw out the cooked food which we had paid for and showed Cherry-Ann the watery ice-cream. I had to request a fold up bed as it is not where the advert said. The owner emailed the apartment sleeps 4 and that I need to pay extra. I sent email that the advert states 6 - no acknowlegment from her. Not enough change of bed linen as stated in email from owner. Owner did not respond to last email. Building requires an overhaul, clean cushions, with regular checks on equipment. I suggest a brochure is provided staying what guest are expected to provide to prevent any disappointments. The interaction with the owner could be improved in regards to customer service.

We was very happy to host Miss Gilbert and her family and is very sorry for any inconvenience they experience during their stay at our apartment. Our goal is to make each guest vist a memorable one. Anytime we fall short it an opportjunity to improve our service, and enhance the experience of future guests.
In a perfect world everything works perfect, and all expectations are met, and sometimes things happened beyond ones control, with the referigerator, we are very sorry it stop freezing when it did it was an inconvenience to the guest, it was beyond our control. The Manager has keys to the apartment, but will not enter without the guest being present. It is the policy for the guest privecy and protection.
The apartment has two bedrooms and sleeps 4 persons two per room. The rollaway bed is available if the guest request it and a charge of $20 a day . That information is on home away. We decided to give the guest the rollaway bed commplimentary.
The onsite manager handles day to day operation, responds to query, make sure everythings works well, and stay in constant communication with the guest.
It is better for the guest to communicate with the person who is hands on with the situation, which is the manager. I am not always in Grenada, and the manager is very capable in meeting our guest needs. I responded to many of miss gilbert's email, however I forwarded them to the manager to handle, I was not on the island.
Our apartment is self contained with washer and dryer, With extended stay the guest laundered they own linen . there are three sets of sheets per bedroom making it six sets of sheets per apartment. There is also detergent in the apartment. Miss gilbert stayed three weeks, with that lenght of stay the guest does their own laundry .
I thank miss gilbert for the observation of the cobwebs and sorry if the cussions was soiled, We take lots of pride in our apartment and my apologies for where we fell short.

WOW, so nice and comfortable
I was quite nicely surprised with this apartment. It had a washer and dryer. There is 110v which was nice because all our electronics are 110v. It has the England plugs as well. It was great to have a cell phone that was provided by the owner and all I did was add minutes when I needed to use it. Wonderful because I was wondering how I was going to reach my friends on the island. Internet worked great because it was hardlined to my laptop. I am not much of a wireless person. AC in individual rooms. Nice breeze while sitting outside and just quiet. You do have to walk up and down the hills so I learned to zigzag the hills when I had to walk up. A local person told me this trick. Was alot easier to do. Really don't need a car unless you want to drive the whole island. We walked to the beach and home often and took the Reggae busses to St George and Anndale Falls. I am so coming back to this apartment on my next trip. Too much fun. Thanks Bunches.
Very nice apartment
My wife and I stayed here for three months from Jan. to Apr. this year. The apartment was clean and well maintained and definitely felt like a home away from home. Cherrian the manager was very helpful with any issues we had and was quick to them looked after. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedding and furniture were very clean and comfortable. It's about an 11 minute walk down the hill to the main road where you catch a local bus into town or to get groceries, the beach is an additional 3 to 5 minute walk. Fares for local trips are about $1.25 Canadian per person, different fares are in place for travelling around the island and very reasonable. The local folks are very friendly and always willing to help, we felt safe there at all times and would highly recommend coming here. One caution, it is a bit of a hike up the hill as about a third of it is quite steep so anyone with walking issues should consider renting a car.

Good value apartments with good customer service. On our second day we locked ourselves out on the balcony, but we were released in under an hour, despite our phones being inside!
A car is essential in my view and car rental is not cheap. About 20 mins to the beach on foot, but down a steep hill. Walking back would be a killer as it is so steep and hot and humid.
However, the apartment is one of the breeziest locations on the island and ac only really needed for sleeping.
I have booked again for next year.
Elinnanda Apartments is located five minutes from all aquatic sports and activities. You can visit the famous grand anse beach with it's crystal clear water, for reef and scuba diving. You can enjoy a trip to whale and dolphin viewing, para sailing , or jet skiing We are five minutes away from fine and local dining with many exotic island cuisine Ten minutes away from nature walks, waterfalls,and yachting. Ten minutes away from clubs, and local theatre.
