About Kim Lee

For many years our extended Lee family had a cozy cabin in Fish Lake, UT. Built in 1950 under the direction of my late Grandfather (and namesake) Thomas Wilson Lee, it became an endeared part of the lives of Grandpa and Grandma Lee, their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Nestled and hidden within a grove of pine trees, the cabin was given the very appropriate name of 'Pleasant Pines'. Unfortunately some years ago for a variety of reasons, my Dad, Uncles and Aunt had to make the difficult decision to sell the cabin. Since then our family has had to begin new traditions, but in the process we've had the opportunity in our travels to see and explore more of what our great state of Utah has to offer. One destination we found ourselves returning to time and time again was St. George. Whether to run the marathon or other races, visit nearby national and state parks, or just as a midway point on our way to Southern California, we enjoyed making visits to Utah's Dixie multiple times throughout the year. So when the opportunity came for us to purchase a condo at Sports Village, we jumped at the chance and have since been thoroughly enjoying our frequent getaway excursions to sunny St. George and our home-away-from-home. In hindsight, the name 'Pleasant Palms' is the perfect and maybe obvious choice for our new family retreat. However to give credit where it is due I must give my brother Steven the kudos for first suggesting the name. As much as we enjoy going to the condo, life in the real world means we can't go as often as we would like. But we figured our loss might as well be someone else's gain, so we made the decision to rent out the condo during those times when we aren't there. We look forward to many years of enjoyment and memories with family and friends at Pleasant Palms. We also look forward to making new friends among our guests and will do all that we can to make your stay at Pleasant Palms a wonderful experience!

Great golf get away

Perfect place for us to spend the week golfing and hiking in the area. This condo was clean and met all of our needs. Only suggestion would be that a few hangers in the closets would be appreciated. Amenities were great after the heat of the day. Communication with owner was timely and helpful. Would consider booking this property again.

It was okay. Would probably not stay there again.

It had a bad odor when we arrived. The carpet was disgusting and the pull out bed had candy stuck inside the mattress so we used a air mattress. The bathroom was clean as well as the kitchen. We stayed three nights.

We've almost always received high marks for our cleanliness in our feedback from our guests so we are very saddened to hear that you had a different experience. We wish you would have let us know upon your arrival of the problems and we could have sent our cleaning service over immediately to address the problems. Typically our cleaners do a superb job. All we can think is that with it being busy season and spring break that our cleaners have been swamped and rushed the cleaning of the condo. Obviously this does not meet our expectations and needs to be addressed. We will driving down to St George this week to discuss with our cleaning service and to personally inspect the condo to make sure the problems you mentioned are adequately taken care of. Once again our apologies and we hope other potential guests will read through all of our reviews before judging the suitability of our condo for their St George stay. Once again our sincere apologies. FOLLOW UP: When we inspected the condo (after our cleaners had already had a chance to clean) we found no noticeable odor nor has any other guest reported any problem with odors. We washed the sofa sleeper mattress cover and also scheduled a carpet cleaning, although the carpet didn't seem to be 'disgusting' to us and we did have them also cleaned a couple months ago. So hopefully any problems have been resolved.

A Pleasant Time Among the Palms

Enjoyed a very pleasant time the past couple days. The condo was fully stocked, clean, & welcoming. WiFi worked great too! We love spending time at the Sports Village. =)

Comfortable

It was a nice clean and comfortable condo. Local amenities were well maintained and easily accessible. The main building, and infrastructure (kitchen cabinets, counters, window, lights) could use some updating, but for the price it was decent. Overall it was a good value for the price.
