Casa Terrazas is a precious newly remodeled historic family home on Holly Street. It has all the modern conveniences mixed with its original cottage charm including oak hardwood floors, doors and characteristics to the period. There is plenty of privacy with two separate charming and comfortable bedrooms each with queen size beds and two full bathrooms.

There is a spacious kitchen that has modern stainless steel appliances, granite counters, self closing custom cabinets and a large dining table. Relax in the open living area with a sofa, recliner and 48” flat screen TV/entertainment center. In addition, there is more room with an office area with wonderful work space (wireless internet throughout house). Also available a Bosch washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, blow dryers and magnifying mirror!

The private and fenced yard is tastefully landscaped with plantings that are native to Texas. The front deck has relaxed seating to enjoy Austin's beautiful weather and scenery. You can enjoy Al fresco dining in the back private courtyard and the BBQ grill is ready to use anytime. There is an attached carport and the driveway that will serve up to 3 vehicles. There is additional parking on the street.

This prime location is across the street from Sanchez Park, a five minute walk from the popular Rainey Street and Lady Bird Lake, (with paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, biking and walking trails). Bird watchers will be in their element! It is a ten minute walk or short drive to all downtown locations including The Austin Convention Center, East and West 6th Street. Music, entertainment and restaurant venues with great variety that will please everyone. It’s also the perfect central location to maneuver around Austin as it is one block off IH 35, convenient to the ABIA airport and Circuit of the America’s to name just a few major spots.

Cozy and local!

This is a great little place in a quiet neighborhood, in the vibrant E Cesar Chavez neighborhood. Comfortable, welcoming, and convenient to the i-35. We would absolutely stay there again!

Cozy cottage

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was great - a short walk to Rainey St. and not far from downtown, 6th street, and great restaurants. This house was clean and cozy and all necessary amenities were provided including a washer and dryer. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. Water, fresh fruit, and coffee were available for our stay. The one thing I think that could have been improved was the towels - there was sort of a mismatched collection - for the price I expected better quality. But all in all, everything was comfortable and in working order.

Great house in just the right place

The Cottage was just how it looked in the photos nice very clean and just a short walk to down town . The owner left us i nice note and a list of local Restaurants that they recommended and told us to use any of the food and drinks in the fridge that was a nice touch. We would recommend this property to all and will be booking it again next year . One thing i would like to have had was WI-FI

Couldn't be more happy

A couple of friends and me stayed for the first weekend of ACL. Since the moment we arrived, we loved the house. We could go walking to Rainy street without worrying about the car. The uber from the house to the drop-off to ACL was around 10 dollars.

Without a doubt we would love staying in Casa Terrazas next year!

Casa is Magnífico!!

I vacation rented this beautiful, clean and well designed home for over 10 days. The location is awesome! So close to downtown Austin (with views from the front porch) I felt I could touch it but in a location that quiet and private with a fenced in rear yard.

This historic charmer was updated with everything I needed including a wine cooler!

The rooms were spacious and it would be perfect for two couples having the 2 bedrooms and two baths.

I expect to visit again in the near future and would only consider Casa Terrazas for my vacation plans.
