Great place to stay!!

We just rented this place for 6 people (4 adults, 2 kids) and it was a great experience! Extended family was staying at the Pismo Coast Village in their trailer, so we rented this place to have some family Christmas time together. The home was very open and spacious and very clean! Everything worked well. The only hiccup we experienced was the heater upstairs; however, we placed an additional blanket we brought with us and were comfortable all night! I am positive had we called and reported an issue, the owners would have been more than happy to help; however, it wasn't a huge deal for us. Grandma and the 3 grandkids slept downstairs with the gas fire place going and were toasty all night long!! We loved the location next to the Pismo Coast Village and just down the street from the beach ~ ideal location for my family. We will definitely keep this as a favorite for future visits!

Serene Vacation

I have stayed at a number of vacation rentals in Pismo Beach. This townhouse is by far my favorite. The views are breathtaking, the kitchen is all white with an upscale heavy grates stove. The place is immaculate and the owner actually responds to your call. Also, there is a washer and dryer with all your washing needs.

My ocean view was unbelievable! The creek that runs alongside the property was also an asset with mallard ducks and other birds. In the evening it was serene with the sound of the ocean and across the creek the flickering of campfires in a distance.

WiFi is a must for me therefore I was totally pleased with my stay. I intend to stay here again. Thank you!.

Tree hugger

This rental has some problems. The true direct view from the balconies is firstly a swampy lagoon and beyond the water is a huge, noisy, obnoxious RV park. The unit is not well maintained. The door off the dining room does not open. There are NO condiments, not even salt/pepper. The kitchen utensils are VERY limited (no collander, no cheese grater, hand-me-down knives/forks), the pots and pans are trashed. There is a side room plumbed for a hot tub with water and electrical but sadly no hot tub. I was so very disappointed.

Owner's Response: Dear Tree Hugger. Oh My Goodness! Your were certainly having a bad time of it. We have had a full summer of delightful guests and many wonderful compliments. So sorry yours was not like the others. After your review, we double checked the inventory, and found the kitchen inventory intact: as follows: Kitchen Items Corningware dinner service for 12, with serving dishes Stainless steel bowls, large, set of 3 Rubbermaid lidded bowls, set of 3 Microwave bowls, assorted Pyrex dishes, 5-piece set, 13' pan, 8" pan, 9" pie pan, loaf pan, pint Measuring cup Drinking glasses, glass and plastic Cups and mugs Colander, plastic Flat pans, 6 pie pans, 2 cake pans, 2 cookie sheets, 1 cookie pan Cutting boards, wood and plastic Pitcher, 2-quart Pots, Mirro aluminum 7-piece set, 1 qt, 1 qt, 7 qt, 10" saute pan Saute pans, ceramic, large, medium and small Tea kettle Silverware, cooking spoons, serving spoons, spatulas, meat fork, Steak knives, kitchen knives, tongs, grater, meat thermometer, Measuring spoons, potato peeler, scissors, corkscrew Meat racks, hand can opener, pot holders Dish rack, sink mats, dish stacker Waste baskets Mop, broom, floor duster, dust pan ... and yes, that grater and collander are there. We speak personally to all guest on arrival and contact each departing guest. And we provide a cell number for any questions during the stay. If you were our guest, you had a personal cell number and could call anytime if you needed anything. I wish you had called. Maintenance and stocking of equipment is a very high priority for us, and insuring that guests have a good stay is very important. In advance of your arrival, we provided a written inventory of supplies and equipment. But so sorry, we do not stock food or condiments in the home. It has been another delightful summer here in Pismo Beach. Many repeat guests come year after year. The Sandpiper (Best of the Beach) is one of our most popular and most requested homes. In the past twelve months we have continued our regular upgrading and maintenance with new full exterior paint, new deck sealing, new flooring, and much more. Kitchen implements are replaced frequently as needed and we NEVER put anything but new implements in our kitchens. Again, sorry it was not the best for you, and wishing we had heard from you at the time to help with anything that came up.
