The house was nice. Views were spectacular. Needs to update outdoor furniture. The location of the house as shown on VRBO was misleading.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comment. The location on the map seems to be an issue with VRBO. Somehow they are not showing the correct position. We have taken it off the map. Hopefully, VRBO will fix the problem.

Great views

  • 4 of 5

It's a beautiful home with spectacular views. We were surprised though by the way to access it. I have wo bad knees so it was very challenging to negotiate the steps and the path upto the house. I wish that was disclosed in the information on homeaway. Other than that every thing was great.

Ok Place

  • 2 of 5

Well, this is the first place I've stayed at where the pictures looked much better than the actual house. And we didn't realize there was no driveway and you had to walk up a long hilly path to get from the car to the house. The house came with the bare minimum - just the bare bones. We are also used to renting homes with at least a stereo system, and more than just one TV with games/videos for the kids. I guess we didn't do enough research on the place to make sure they had all the extras, which is our fault. The house was clean with great views and the kids enjoyed game table downstairs. And although the house was clean we must have killed 6-7 spiders in the bedrooms each night so I would suggest some type of bug spray!

Crown Jewel of Tahoe

  • 5 of 5

People often say Incline Village is the crown jewel of Lake Tahoe. Then this vacation house is definitely the centerpiece gem on top of the crown jewel because of its unique location. We arrived late on a Saturday night and woke up next morning to the most memsmerizing view we've ever seen of the Tahoe region. The photos definitely do not convey it, not even the ones on the propoerty's website. Besides playing all the games from air hockey to fozball to bumper pool, the kids spent a good part of the day playing on the large ground around the house. The ground itself is approximately 2 acres and is very private with these gigantic rocks and pine trees. The house is actually located inside a community so it is right in Incline with others, yet because of its location, it has so much privacy that you feel like you own the entire Tahoe. Definitely the best spot we've stayed at in Tahoe. Recommended A+++ for others.

Exquisite views - comfortable quarters

  • 5 of 5

Be prepared for probably the most outstanding views of Lake Tahoe that are to be found. Access to the lake takes about 10-15 minutes, but the drive is pleasant. We were there in the summer, but noticed great views of ski slopes from the windows on the east side of the house. The inside of the house is furnished comfortably and we found it very well kept. The property manager, John, was quite cordial and always helpful. We're in our mid 60's and the approximate 50 yard uphill walk from the street to the front door required that we stop and catch our breath about halfway up, especially when with luggage or groceries. Overall, we would highly recommend this property. We escaped the heat of Texas and treasured our time there.

Owner's Response: I am glad you enjoy the stay. The 10-15 min drive is to the Sand Harbor beach area, which is perhaps the nicest beach in Tahoe. You can reach Lake side from the house in about 2 or 3 minutes. We try hard to take best care of you and all the guests, and to make sure you have the best time in Tahoe...
