Amazing ocean and lagoon views! - Award winning renovation design of public spaces at the Oceanfront Ilikai hotel. Well known for the popular and most remembered original hit television series, 'Hawaii 5-0'. This unit is located on the 9th floor has lanai views towards the Hilton lagoon and Pacific ocean. There lanai runs the full length of unit. Glass wall keeps the unit quiet from city noise, fully air conditioned unit provides coolness or open the full height, floor to ceiling glass doors to catch some cool, ocean breezes. Morning sun, Cooler side of hotel. Unobstructed Lagoon and Ocean views from lanai of this unit. Updated kitchen and bath, Plates, cups, glasses, Linens and towels provided, no maid service is provided. Luxurious, Memory foam, California, King size bed with lighted, Mahogany headboard and frame. There is access to two hotel swimming pools, main pool is located on the main lobby level and wading pool on the 2nd level.

This hotel and this unit location is great. Located in the best Oceanfront building between Ala Moana and the entrance to all of Waikiki and The Waikiki shoreline. The Hilton Hawaiian village is right next door where you can access all of the Hilton village shops, restaurants and fresh water lagoon/ beach park. The Ilikai unit is situated on the 9th floor so you're high above any street noise yet you're not so high up that you're that you get vertigo and are afraid to look over the edge or look down. The outdoor private lanai runs the full length of the unit with views of the lagoon with the vast, Pacific blue ocean beyond. If you want a nice fully furnished apartment to stay in with everything including Wi-Fi wireless internet, without going bankrupt then this is the one. Another bonus to this unit is that the fireworks show from the balcony makes you feel that the fireworks are being done just for you. It's right there in your face with all the brightness, sound and excitement! Make sure you have drinks for the show! Friday's at 7:30 pm from the private lanai of the this unit. Fold down sleep sofa in the living room. Nice and clean bathroom, glass shower door, and wood flooring throughout. Kitchen has full sized refrigerator, dishwasher and food disposal in sink. Room has small private lock-box safe in room for valuables. Wireless internet available. Best South Shore, Waikiki address. Best Oceanfront Hotel / Private condominium building with all amenities, pool, beachside, close to all of the famous Waikiki shops, restaurants, galleries, theaters, Waikiki shows, nightclubs and entertainment. Located in the heart of where it all happens in Honolulu. This is a very Safe building. Located directly next door to Hilton Hawaiian Village, there is 24-hour security and camera security, 24-hour hotel lobby front desk at entrance to elevators. Registered guests stay only. Coin operated laundry at each floor with trash rooms and vending machines. Downstairs lobby has sundries, coffee shop, lobby, outdoor bar, night-time free shows on common terrace just in front of the marina, just steps from the main lobby and ocean. Fireworks every Friday at 8 p.m., and can be seen exclusively from the private lanai of this unit. Within walking distance: Ala Moana shopping mall. All of Waikiki, downtown Honolulu, Chinatown, Waikiki Zoo, Waikiki aquarium, Ala moana beach park, Waikiki Beach park, Kaimana beach, Kalakaua Avenue, Ala Moana Boulevard, Ala Wai Canal. Hiking trails in and around Diamond head crater and national park. Visit the other parts of the island by catching public transportation from multiple locations. All questions can be found in the pamphlets on the wall in lobby just near top of escalators and you will find everything you are looking for during your stay in Hawaii. Nicely decorated and clean condo with a great view of the ocean

We enjoyed staying in this condo January - February 2017. It's well located, close to the beach and shopping. We also enjoyed watching the weekly Friday night fireworks from our lanai. Doug was very accommodating and very friendly to deal with. We would definitely consider booking this condo for our next Hawaiian vacation. D & J Elash, Saskatoon Canada.

This cosy condo was our home for 2.5 mos

This apt is in process of being upgraded, so when the air conditioner, garborator and neon lights in bathroom quit Doug responded promptly and solutions found. He was always helpful and pleasant. He accommodated our request for shorter chairs as dinning and lanai chairs are height of bar stools.

This apt is perfect for a couple with or without a child, but small for three adults if staying longer periods of time. The sofa couch is comfortable for third person but storage limited.

We had a wonderful time during our stay and want to thank Doug and his wife.

Everything you could want in an ocean view condo!

My family of five (2 adults and 3 children) stayed in the condo from September 30th to October 11th, 2015.

Great communication with the owner, Doug. He was prompt in responding to emails and allowed for a late check out time of 3:00 PM as our flight back home was at 10:15 PM. Thank you!

No surprises with the listing description of the property, amenities and location. The location can't be beat! Minutes away from beaches, lagoon and the Ala Moana shopping centre. Steps away from the convenience store ABC and McDonalds for quick small grocery run and take-out. Big big bonus was watching the Hilton Hotel's fireworks show from our lanai on Friday evening at 7:45 PM - spectacular! We saw it twice... The view from the lanai is so relaxing.

Our stay involved hitting one of the many beautiful beaches one day and then visiting a tourist attraction the next day. The drive and visit to the Dole Plantation, the hike up Diamond Head State Monument and snorkel swim in Hanamau Bay are must do's! Just remember to start early to avoid crowds.

There are five quick elevators at the Ilikai Hotel so you are never standing around too long for one.

We look forward to staying in unit 934 again. Thanks Doug!

Excellent condo, great vacation

Everything went better than planned/expected:

- Booking: easy and straight forward. The owner was prompt in answering all our questions and accommodate our requests.

- Location: one of the best in Waikiki, direct access to the beach and amazing and stunning ocean and fireworks views from the balcony.

- Arrival: Doug (the owner) accommodated our late arrival time even after a 2 hour plane delay. He was very hospitable and understanding.

- Stay: the condo has everything you want and Doug was very accommodating of our requests and family situation.

- Check out: Thank you Doug for accommodating us in our check out situation.

In general, it was a perfect fit that made our first visit to Waikiki a very nice one. The owner was GREAT. He treated us as family. I felt very welcome. It makes a big different to deal with such a very nice and understating person. THANK YOU Doug. We'll definitely come back.

Great week away

We stayed here for a week and enjoyed every minute. The condo was well equipped with everything you needed for your vacation. Good quality towels including beach towels as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The balcony is private and has a great view.

The bed was very comfy and the linen was good quality also.

I would recommend this condo without hesitation. Thanks Doug.
