Relaxation Supreme

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely amazing weekend!! Everything provided except for food, clothing and toothbrush! Can walk to the picturesque town of Paw Paw, or jump in the car to go on a winery tour. Lots of great places to eat. Paw Paw is conveniently located between South Haven on Lake Michigan and Kalamazoo, a college town (Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College) with many events to offier...from theatre and museums to the Air Zoo and Nature Center. Travel a little farther west on I-94 to Battle Creek and there is Binder Park Zoo and Firekeepers Casino. The cottage is very neat, clean and remodeled. I was too busy kayaking (in a wet was a bit chilly) and fishing, to visit these venues, but hope to return during warm weather and stay longer. Mark was very helpful, telling me where the best fishing spots are and making sure I knew how to operate the furnace and television. I would recommend this to all of my family and friends.

I will start with the pros: clean, well stocked, water toys ( for an up charge), peaceful lake, lake bottom is nice and sandy as described, decent fishing

Cons: owner is difficult to communicate with, property is literally on a highway tarnishing the peaceful setting (at times we could not even hear conversation around the firepit ), size was fine for us but the price was high compared to other comparables we have used, lake is very small making pontoon rides pretty limited, we had difficulty with the key code access entry but got it to work with persistence -recommend using the actual key, forgot a couple of items and have not been able to get them sent or even to be made available for pick up when a friend was going to be driving through town

Great time Memorial Day weekend!

  • 5 of 5

The pictures do not do this place justice. Very Clean and plenty of room inside to sleep 8 comfortably plus 2 dogs. You could probably get away with sleeping 10 comfortably. The cost was very fair especially since it included access to a pontoon boat, paddle boat, kayaks and firewood. The pontoon boat was perfect for what we needed to relax all weekend. The lake was very peaceful and not crowed at all. Half the time we were the only ones out there. At night we were able to relax by the built in fire pit. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again.

Amazing experience

  • 5 of 5

This place was amazing and a great experience for me and my family. We had an amazing time and the children loved every bit of it. We spent our time enjoying the water and were very thankful that Mark was able to help us with any questions or concerns we had when we arrived. We are ready to go back and can't wait to bring more family to have the same amazing experience we did. Thank you so much for everything Mark. See you soon
