Napa Valley is a world renown travel destination. We love the northern part of the wine country. Calistoga offers the tranquil setting that one is looking for in a vacation or break away. In many ways Sonoma and Alexander Valley offer the relaxed traveler a lot of opportunities, especially for the ones that look for family-owned/boutique wineries or for people that long for 'just a weekend away' with family and friends from the city.

Beautiful views, room to roam and oh, so comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

Our weekend stay in this charming, well-appointed cottage was all that we hoped for! The rural setting made for quiet mornings and peaceful evenings, while the activities of Santa Rosa and Calistoga were each 15 minutes away. Our hosts were very accommodating, but not intrusive. We especially enjoyed the stunning views from every window, the relaxing deck, and the comfortable beds that made for a restful night’s sleep. Would love to return someday!

Loved the outdoor space here. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub under the trees. Our dog enjoyed running around outside. Home is spacious. Kitchen is well stocked. We also enjoyed a visit to the Tank Winery in Calistoga.

Nice and quiet spot

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Everything one would need when staying in Calistoga/Santa Rosa. Meike was a terrific and responsive host. Recommended for anyone wanting to get away from it all but still be close to all that the wine region as to offer.

Wonderful Holiday at the Wine Country Villa

  • 5 of 5

The " Wine Country Villa is a relaxing paradise. We were able to take long walks at this quiet peaceful retreat. There were blue birds, acorn and pilleated woodpeckers and various other birds out enjoying the grasslands and old oaks, and mallard ducks out on the pond.

The house has a large abundantly stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook and enjoy a family meal.

The house was spotlessly clean, has an updated kitchen and bath and lovely old pecan floors.

We definitely plan to stay here again!
