Our Westmount Victorian dates back to 1890 and is located on a quiet block in Montreal's most upscale neighborhood of Westmount. It is steps from downtown, public transportation and posh Greene Avenue and its shops.
This unique 1,800 sqft property is spread over two floors.
-loft style master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, balcony, queen size bed, two walk-in closets and flat screen television
-2nd bedroom with double bed
-full bathroom next to 2nd bedroom
-fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances
-dining room with fireplace (seats six)
-bright living room with functional fireplace and flat screen TV
All TVs have cable and WiFi is available.
There is plenty of street parking* but a car is not necessary.
This property is non-smoking.

*street parking is two hours during the day, from 6pm-8am permits are enforced so there are no restrictions for our guests during the evening and overnight hours.

We enjoyed staying at your home. The location and space were great . The lighting in the living room and master bedroom could be improved. And the living room furniture did not feel inviting for four people to visit in there. The couch was particularly uncomfortable.
Charming home in a quiet neighborhood
We spent several days in Montreal doing some charity work and needed more than a hotel would offer us. This lovely home was perfect for our needs. It has been completely updated inside while still retaining it's vintage charm. Has a nice modern kitchen with a laundry room connected. We didn't have need of the appliances except the microwave and Keurig, but they were in good working order.
Bathrooms are clean and well stocked with fluffy towels. Living/dining areas are spacious. The bedrooms were perfect for our needs. The downstairs bedroom is privately tucked in the back of the house. The upstairs bedroom is at the top of the staircase and is more of a loft style, but still quite private. The bed is very comfortable and we slept well. There is plenty of storage for clothing, etc. and a flat screen tv mounted on a wall.
The house is perfectly situated on a quiet street just a short walk away from several great restaurants, a grocery store, drug store and a Starbucks if you need it. There is also a metro entrance about 2 blocks away.
The parking was never an issue for us and we were able to park in front of the house all the times we really needed to do so.
We only had 2 *complaints* if you can even call them that - 1) the lamp in the living area needed to be plugged in to turn it on as we couldn't find an obvious switch for it. 2) the window air conditioning unit in the upstairs bedroom had wide gaps on either side of the unit and on the two cold, rainy days it made the room temperature quite chilly. Because of the nature of our visit, we were pretty exhausted each day, so it didn't deter our sleep. But not much would have.
These two small issues are not enough to warrant a less than 5 for our rating because we so thoroughly enjoyed everything else about the house.
We plan to rent this property again when we return next year.

We loved staying in the house while on our trip to Montreal. The location is fantastic, close to the Atwater station and only a 30 minute walk to downtown. There are some great places to eat nearby, along with a market to stock the refrigerator. The house has two bedrooms with two full baths, a nice kitchen, a very nice dining room and sitting room. It was clean, well managed, and had the modern convenience of a strong wifi signal. It was a pleasure working with Lauren who was receptive to our needs and answered our questions promptly. Highly recommend this property.
great place to stay in montreal
This is a great location from which to explore Montreal- walking distance from downtown attractions, but in a quiet, leafy neighborhood near a Metro stop. House is comfortable, squeaky clean, kitchen well stocked with essentials. We had a problem with the washing machine and owner was there promptly to fix it. If you bring a car, street parking can be a problem - we finally found a municipal parking garage a few blocks away (near the Metro), where you can park all day for ~ $16. Unfortunately, this was not until after we got a $50 parking ticket...Also, house is billed as "air conditioned", but it's just a single small window unit in one of the bedrooms. However, there are fans and we were quite comfortable (weather cooperated). Overall, we had a great stay.

Great property, lovely location
This is a lovely Victorian home in a quiet, residential area. Fantastic shopping street with restaurants is just across the road. Bus to anywhere you'd like to go is just outside your door and subway is a close walk. Property works for 4, but better for 3 (second bedroom is a squeeze for 2 ppl). Living room furniture could be updated to get the place a little cozier if you'd like to stay in and watch movies. Kitchen is great and master bedroom is lovely with lots of space. Parking can be a little tricky, so check in with Lauren about specifics. She provides overnight parking passes which is helpful. Lauren is a lovely host and gets back to you quickly. Overall a great stay!
