Sweeping views of Andes, the river and the park. Unobstructed views of San Cristóbal Hill, and at night the Virgin Mary shines on its summit. Just stunning!. At night the views are magical, the busy city seems to pause under your balcony.
The wicker furniture in the balcony is from a small town south of Santiago, Pomaire, known by its clay modeling artisans. They clay plates on the walls, also come from Pomaire and the artist that painted them has been doing that for the last 20 years.
This is a beautifully appointed apartment in the Bellas Artes area of Santiago with lovely views of the mountains, San Cristobal Hill and the river. The beds and bathrooms were comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The furnishings were very comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen to fix small meals, coffee, etc. The location was perfect. We walked all over the Bella Vista neighborhood, making stops at the Bella Vista Patio and Pablo Neruda's home. San Cristobal Hill is also within walking distance. Across from the apartment is the Parque Forestal which is very nice and you will find many nice restaurants in or near the park and Bellas Artes museum. We also walked to Barrio LaStarria, Santa Lucia Hill, La Moneda Palace and the main square. Unfortunately, the weekend we were in town, there was an election and many public places and museums were closed, but we loved seeing the Neruda home and the Metropolitan Cathedral. We also enjoyed the Castillo Hidalgo on Cerra Santa Lucia which was free and very beautiful. The owner left a very detailed guide to the city in the apartment with restaurant suggestions, how to get around on the bus and subway system, etc. and it was extremely useful. We never even needed to use the transportation system as we walked or used Uber to get around. We loved our stay here and can't think of a single negative!
Excellent apartment with all the necessary appliances and some provisions supplied. Perfect situation for exploring the city. Highly recommended.
Thanks to Anna and Omar for a great stay in Santiago.
Thank you Ana Luisa for allowing us to stay in your apartment. The place was perfect for the 3 of us. The place accomodated our needs. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen provided all the necessities for our needs. Great location where we were able to walk to areas nearby. Thank you for providing a pamphlet of recommended areas to visit, and how to get around. The only downside was the smoking of the neighbors on the floor would drift into the apartment. We placed a towel under the doorand that helped. Outside of that i still give a 5 star rating.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the apartment and Santiago. The information packet was quite helpful and the restaurant recommendations were spot on. The kitchen was well stocked and the grocery was just a short walk away. Bedroom 2 was a bit tight because we had a great deal of luggage for our 25 day trip. (Totally perfect for a family with 2 kids and was still okay for us.) The central location was perfect and the park right across the street was great for morning runs. The Concierge was very helpful. We would gladly stay here again.
This property is perfectly located for exploring on foot the multiple diverse sections of Santiago. The apartment is on the small side, but sufficient for two couples. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Ana-Luisa was prompt in replying to all questions and provided detailed information on the city. Property manager Omar met us early morning at the property and could not have been more helpful during our stay!
