This second story, two bedroom residence is nestled among the stately willow oaks of Myers Park, where curving avenues, gracious homes and small parks combine to make one of the most liveable neighborhoods in the South.
Located 1 mile from Uptown, home to multiple museums, the convention center, Bobcats Arena and the Epicentre entertainment complex, Myers Park is where generations of prominent Charlotteans have made their home since the neighborhood was created by famous landscape architect John Nolen in 1911.
We've maintained the character of the historic 1920's apartment building, while completely updating and renovating the interior. Stainless appliances with granite countertops, new heating and cooling systems and plumbing provide modern amenities, while the original refinished hardwoods, plaster walls, bathroom tile, high ceilings and 2-panel doors provide the charm so often absent in new construction.
In addition to large double-hung windows throughout the home, a sunroom with floor-to-ceiling windows lets in an abundance of light, while the adjacent balcony allows you to enjoy the outside, whether for breakfast in the morning or for a drink or meal in the evening. Since the apartment is located on the second floor, to the rear of the building, it's quiet and private. Off-street parking is also provided.
The galley kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, etc., a professional-grade gas range with convection oven, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, disposal, and a stackable washer and dryer. Off of the kitchen, a dining area comfortably seats four but can seat up to six.
In the spacious living room, upholstered furniture provides comfortable seating, an internet enabled 3-D flatscreen television offers streaming Netflx and Hulu as well as other options.
A desk (wifi included) in the adjacent sunroom enables business travelers to work in a beautiful tree-top setting.
400-thread-count linens and thick Egyptian cotton towels offer all of the comforts of home, and each bedroom has a generous closet and a television. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, the second offers two twins.
Wide sidewalks and towering oaks throughout the neighborhood provide an ideal place for walking or jogging, and a coffee shop, multiple restaurants (including Ethiopian, Thai, casual and fine Italian, etc.), shopping and even an independent movie theater are a half mile away. Spring through fall, a farmers market is open Wed, Fri and Sat around the corner from the apartment, and a new greenway offers a convenient connection to Freedom Park, Dilworth and Carolinas Medical Center.
Ideal for short- or long-term stays for business or pleasure, or when visiting someone at either CMC or Presbyterian Hospitals, our goal is for you to feel at home during your stay. We'll try hard to accommodate almost any special request and we live less than 2 miles away, so are readily available should something come up. We look forward to hosting you.

We travel extensively and prefer staying in apartments rather than hotels when we travel. Upon our return from a month renting a great place in Istanbul last summer, we decided to Offer our property on VRBO. We are Green Developers who enjoy meeting new people and introducing them to our fair city. I'm a native Charlottean so can help provide a true local's perspective during your visit, which can be especially helpful for people relocating to Charlotte. Our clean and comfortable properties are located near Uptown Charlotte, in very walkable and safe neighborhoods. We try our best to provide a true home away from home. Thanks in advance for your interest and we look forward to hosting you
Jim Hock purchased this condo in 1995
Charlotte has been our home for 40+ years for Jim and 20+ years for James , and we love sharing our city with other travelers. We feel that location is paramount in any decision to vacation, and ours is one of the most centrally located neighborhoods in the entire city. We purchased this home as a rental when we lived in the building in another unit and lived here a number of years before buying a single family home nearby.
Location, location, location. Our walkable neighborhood provides the ability to live car-free, and when a car is needed, you can get anywhere in the area in minutes. Near both hospitals and close to the Uptown business district, you'll enjoy staying in the center of everything, but in a quiet residential neighborhood. As a native Charlottean, I can help guide you around our city, and can be especially helpful for those relocating to the area.
Great apartment - very comfortable and brilliant as a base for our vacation touring North and South Carolina from England. We stayed in an upstairs apartment and it was really nice having the trees as our view everywhere we looked. The restaurant recommendations were spot-on - everyone should eat at 300 East! Would certainly look at staying in one of Jim and James' apartments next time we are in the area.
Came for a weekend getaway to visit Charlotte. Within walking distance of a street car and very convenient to explore the city. Fully equipped kitchen with cooking supplies and some ingredients… so welcoming we decided to stay home and cook instead of dining out sometimes. Although we never met Charlie in person he was an amazing host with complimentary surprises at the home. On our next visit to Charlotte, we know exactly where we’re staying!
We had a wonderful experience staying at Queens Road for a long weekend. The apartment was immaculate. There were MANY thoughtful touches that are above and beyond other lodging choices. Breakfast and dinner ingredients were left for us. The location is perfect.
I could spend a lot of time writing about all the great things but I feel like it will ruin the surprise.
Just one bathroom in a Jack and Jill type style so if you need a lot of privacy this might not work. Otherwise, you can't go wrong.
My husband and I came to Charlotte for a convention and were lucky enough to stay in this home. The location was great and the home was beautifully decorated. Charlie was such a pleasure to work with. We've stayed at a lot of homes that we've found on VRBO and this one is definitely one of our favorites. We hope to have the opportunity to stay in one fo Charlie's homes again!!
This was my second stay with the boutique home collection owners but at a different location in Charlotte. Again the apartment was extremely clean, spacious and light filled. The decor and artwork are unique. It is true to the pictures on the website. Although it was on Queens Road, it was also very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and Charlie, the manager, leaves snacks, wine and liquor. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels. the washer /dryer adds to the convenience. If anything is needed Charlie is very responsive to requests and answers texts readily. I used the sunporch and outside terrace daily.
The property is located in an architecturally interesting older neighborhood of Charlotte. It is close to restaurants, grocery stores, a farmer's market and a Greenway which made for great walking. It is also very close to Uptown. I would highly recommend this apartment to any visitor to the city.
It was a blessed time. Thank you(:
The house was clean and with all we needed to be comfortable in the time we were there. We love the nice token of leaving food and drinks for us, it made it ease the transition to the place and gave us a home feeling .
The outside balcony looks a great place to enjoy but it was really dirty This is the only complain I have.
We loved our stay. The location was perfect and we could easily walk to several restaurants and the grocery within a mile radius. The porch was perfect for morning coffee and tea and the apartment was wonderfully furnished.
