About Michael Myers
I am a business owner from Minnesota. My family and I love the outdoors, including sports, hunting and fishing. We love to travel to Montana to spend time in the beautiful setting by Yellowstone. We welcome and encourage you to try out our vacation home. If you love the outdoors like us, you will love staying here!
Michael Myers purchased this House in 2009
Why Michael Myers chose West Yellowstone
We chose to purchase our vacation home in West Yellowstone because we love the outdoors and spending time with our family. It's one of the most beautiful places we've been to and offers many things to do around the area.
What makes this House unique
We love that Yellowstone National Park is only 5 minutes from our property. From our house in the summer we go hiking and walk to the river to fish. In the winter we go cross country skiing and snowmobiling from our back yard. It is always a fun and relaxing vacation with all the beauty that surrounds us.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.

Perfect for Yellowstone
Great house close to west Yellowstone entrance. Clean, comfy, and just as listed. We had a great time and there was plenty of room for the six of us.
Rats in the house
We booked this rental home given its proximity to the West entrance of Yellowstone. This was going to be a family reunion with some of our family meeting us there. We have three kids and were very excited about the trip. Check-in was easy with a key in the lockbox. The nightmare begins on day 1. We were watching TV by the fireplace when our young son screamed as he saw a RAT come out of the vent by the fireplace. My other 2 kids were scared as well. I immediately called the property manager Vanessa.. who said she was gonna get in touch with the owner but we didnt hear back until Day#2. Oh did I tell you that we found rat poop in the closet, laundry room. We woke up on day#2 and found that the rat had been feasting on potato chips that were in the kitchen!! It gets better. We got back after a long day in Yellowstone and my sister found out that the rat had gone into her luggage, chewed on some snacks that she had in her bags. She was petrified, crying and decided to leave the house and went to a hotel instead. We had already payed for the whole week so we didnt wanna spend more money paying more, so we stayed. We packed all our food and put in a large bag with zipper. Well this rat or rats bit through the bag and started to eat our food. So we had to throw away all the food that was in the bag. The owner Michael calls back and said he’s never had rats there before which is not true.. dont believe that for a minute. He said not sure what he could do. Not until I wrote a email to him did he get some traps put in the house. This rat literally walked over the traps.. trust me I saw it.. he kept walking around while we were having dinner.. it had no fear. This house needs to have an exterminator take care of this. This was a terrifying stay for our kids and family. We could not relax at the house knowing that this vermin was walking around. Will never come back here. If you like rats eating your food on your vacation then this home’s for you.

West Yellowstone haven
Great place to stay for both large or small groups. Lots of room to spread out. Close to west entrance of the park and a haven after a day of exploring and discovery of this rare and precious American treasure. Had a little trouble getting the tv to work, but finally decided it was some kind of power outage, so rebooted the tv by unplugging it. Fantastic place to stay.
Great fall vacation
clean accommodations in great location. Went on hiking trip with some old college buddies and perfect place to chill out and rest our heads after rigorous day hikes.
Close enough to town in order to be convenient for restaurants and grocery stores but far enough away to get the Montana cabin feel.
