Why Trish Abbatello chose Hummelstown

Cozy home near Hershey
We had a nice stay near Hershey. The house location was perfect for us. We enjoyed being able to walk to local restaurants. Would stay here again.
A home away from home
House was homey and comfortable. We will look tonstay again when we’re back in the area.
Great Location Close To Hershey Park
We enjoyed our one night stay. It was perfect for two families to share for one night, although it could get crowded real fast if shared for much longer because they house isn’t large (e.g. one bathroom, small common space). If only one family is staying though, it’s perfect! Nice kitchen, adorable dining den and near a few restaurants. The house is a duplex so there is a shared porch and wall and we had a fairly loud party staying there the same night: if people are loud on the porch or the adjoining space on the other side of the wall, you will hear them. Overall, pretty good experience though and I’d use again to stay with the kids if/when we go to Hershey.
Best family reunion ever!
We rented this property and the one next door for extended family to come together for a family wedding. Altogether we had 6 families sharing the two homes. We really enjoyed that the front porch connected the units (which could be separated by a gate if two different groups rented the properties). Three families were in this property including two infants. Lots of room, spotlessly clean, great kitchen with stocked cabinets, dishes, HUGE bathroom with jacuzzi tub, etc. We could walk to everything, and had easy access to main roads. Enjoyed breakfast at Bill's, Rhoads Hallmark store, the toy store, and walked to Rita's custard. The Soda Jerk had great food as well, and just down the road was a Weis grocery store that supplied everything we needed. A little further away (5-10 minutes), we went to Indian Echo Caverns (perfect in 90 degree weather!), Hershey Chocolate World, Hershey Gardens, and enjoyed the Hershey Hotel spa! Perfect setting and great landlord! We would definitely come back! THANK YOU!!!
Beautiful Home and Great Location
Beautiful home stocked with all your needs. The location is great. It is one block from the main street of Hummelstown where there are shops and restaurants. Short drive to the attractions in the area.
Nice place -- too many charges
Great house and nice little town but the price was extremely misleading. I don't believe all the added charges, I wouldn't recommend because of all the hidden fees.
2 nights - $590.00
Cleaning Fee - $75.00
Tax - $64.90
Property Damage Protection - $59.00
Service Fee - $74.00
Total Amount - $862.90
Pricing is clearly stated prior to booking. There are no hidden fees. You are paying less than a hotel stay, with many more amenities.
Located in beautiful downtown Hummelstown, less than 5 miles from Hershey Park, the Giant Center, Penn State Milton Hershey Medical Center. Conveniently located, shops and restaurants within walking distance.
