Comfortable and immaculate
Experience was great. Debra was a joy to work with. House was more than we could hoped for. We plan to stay again in the future!
It was wonderful. We had a great time, the house was wonderful, and we enjoyed visited the attractions in the area. It was a memorable trip. Thank you.
Thank you Karen, I enjoyed having you as guests, The place was left immaculate, Come back any time Debra
Quaint & spacious
For two small families, this house worked out great! We had plenty of room. The room with two twin beds worked out great for our two boys and each couple had a room! We were a short drive to the Appomattox court house and Civil War Museum, grocery store, and restaurants. It's about an hour drive to some of the other locations we visited, but it was fine. We really enjoyed our weekend.
Thank you for your review of my property, It was a pleasure to have your group, you were great guests, welcomed back anytime. Debra
Beautiful and Convenient
A small group of us traveled from Dallas/Ft. Worth to attend Ordinations at the new St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary. It was a beautiful house and very convenient for us to travel to and from. Debra is super nice and we will be back again next year.
Ideal Place to Stay
This property is super clean, functional space, beautiful, and comfortable. A group of us (6) stayed over to go check out Yogaville and the area in general. The kitchen was the right size and we had fun cooking and telling stories. The afternoon sky is beautiful - orange, blue, white; the air is clean, and the stars are bright (not too much light pollution here).
Words of wisdom: Come prepared with what you're going to cook, this is rural country. There's restaurants out there, but make sure you locate them before "winging a night out in the hinterlands". Make sure you fill up your car tank with gas at least 7-10 miles before arriving to the location. Bring your charcoal to grill outside. Bring food storage containers to take your leftovers with you.
There was a water pressure issue that didn't allow us to use the upstairs showers, but this was being taken care of at the time. Just ask before you book. The homeowner is very responsive, direct, warm, and will answer all your questions. We will definitely come back here.
Truly a country setting, very rural, many state parks, small towns, tiny villages to explore, unique shopping in Farmville, or big city dining out if you like a drive to Lynchburg or Richmond.
