Located near Heavenly Hana on approximately 3 acres... Isolated from the other side of Maui by the famous road to Hana, far from Waikiki, a secluded cottage awaits you. . The Hana Coast is the last undeveloped tropical paradise on Maui. Literally in the middle of the jungle.
This cottage consists of one bedroom, one bath with a fully equipped modern kitchen. The unit has everything you come to expect.. Dish, 40' TV, phone (free to US and Canada), limited satellite internet, without the high rises and traffic you find in most tourist areas on the island.
The cottage is about 25 minutes from Hana, isolated from the rest of the island, it is truly the last undeveloped tropical paradise on Maui. Views of spectacular waterfalls, the rugged Hana shoreline, and some of the best beaches on the island can only begin to describe what awaits you on your stay in Hana.
Come out for a short stay or spend your vacation here, either way you will experience Maui as you have never imagined!
2 night minimum stay.

Regarding the satellite internet service supplied by Starband.net, this is adequate for checking emails, reading news, weather reports and basic internet browsing as the system has limited bandwidth and a usage cap similar to many cell phones. In summary it is not adequate to download videos or upload large files and not good for services such as Skype and Google phone.
I would HIGHLY recommend this cottage for your upcoming vacation. Maria was extremely helpful... she even had a binder with previous notes on where to visit from former guests. The location is also ideal. Close to town but also far enough away that you feel like you are in a foreign country. We spent 3 nights and loved every minute. Maria had a well stocked private cottage with kitchen basics, super clean surroundings, and even extras like beach towels, boogie boards, and bug spray! Hana is dreamy... make sure you do the long drive around the tip of the island on your way out!
The cottage is what we expected very clean. This is definitely a place that is more than a home away from home, aside from the convenience of many things you are looking for in a home are provided for you the cottage is located in Nahiku on the way to Hana. Nahiku is a place where the sound of nature is ever present. A place where you can disconnect, unwire, unwind, rewind, and surrender yourself to nature. A place where you can rejuvinate your mind, body, and soul. We spent a total of 8 nights and it was wonderful. Maria our host very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some excellent tips to visit. Maria Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.
If you are looking for a quiet and quaint place away from a regular tourist destination look no more this is the place for you.

The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. The property was well maintained, clean and beautiful! A great home-base for exploring the Hana side of the island. Mahalo Maria!
Rain, rain and more rain couldn't spoil our stay at Maria's lovely cottage. Very cosy, beautiful location and very well equipped. Maria was incredibly helpful and was a delight to meet. She talked us through everything in the home and gave us lots of tips on where to visit and what to eat. The drive to the cottage and lower Nahiku is lovely and the end of the road view is stunning. Highly recommend a stay here.
This was our second stay here (first was November 2012) and it was as fantastic as we remembered! The cottage is super clean and has everything you need. The location is very quiet and our stay was peaceful & relaxing. Maria is a wonderful host and we would highly recommend staying here!!! The welcome book has notes from previous guests which is super helpful and also fun to read. We had delicious fish tacos from 2 guys set up on the side of the road going down to the Hana airport (Alalele Rd) - they were amazing...I'm still thinking about them now. And if you're staying over on a Friday or Saturday night, Hana Farms does brick over pizzas that are SO good. We'll be back on our next trip to Maui!
Maria is a terrific host. She will make great effort to assure you have a great stay in her cottage and enjoy the Hana area. The cottage is very clean and is equipped with virtually everything you will need, including kitchen equipment, towels, boogie boards, chairs etc. The location is conveniently only about 10 miles from Hana. We highly recommend renting from Maria.
