This 2 Bedroom Very Clean, Open, Bright & Modern Apartment Sleeps 6 Comfortably

Newly renovated and furnished as of December 2013 my newest listing on Venice Beach is in the middle of all the fun that Venice Beach and LA have to offer but still in a very quiet and super convenient location. It is bright and clean with no clutter and has everything you might need. The apartment has 2 large bed rooms and a pull out sofa in the living area. The kitchen has Cesar Stone counter tops, all appliances you might need and is full equipped. The bath room has a shower tub. There is a private deck with gas BBQ and a washer/dryer on site. The apartment comes with one parking spot.

Just a little about me: I grew up in Germany and moved to NY to study film. A project require the relocation to California in 1999 and I fell in love with the state. I got a little into real estate and had another very successful vacation rental down the street from this one.

Having the experience from another successful vacation rental down the street for 5 years now this location is perfect. It is smack in the center of it all but very safe and quiet at the same time.

It is clean, modern and not cluttered. The furnishings have a simple, contemporary feel. There is lots of light and air.

What makes this townhome unique

What I - and my husband - loved about the apartment from the first showing was the great layout of the large bedrooms and the spacious living area with the open kitchen, dinning and direct access to the outdoor deck and BBQ. It's perfect for a gathering with family or friend, having dinner watch a movie or simply relax and hang out after a busy day of having fun in the neighborhood.

We loved our stay in this unit! Definitely our best experience on Airbnb thus far. The place very clean & tidy, which is very important to us as a family. The owner has put a lot of thought into what his guests may need to make their stay really enjoyable & comfortable. The effort was much appreciated & noticed! Thank you!! The kitchen was well equipped, there were plenty of towels for both the beach & bathing, there a change of linen for the beds etc. The little garden area was great for the kids! Marcus was so efficient in getting back to my messages & the communication was fantastic! On arrival, the procedure was sent to us in such detail, it was such a pleasure!! All the necessary 'house info' was there & I didn't have to contact Marcus once during our stay. I HIGHLY recommend this unit! Thanks so much Marcus!

Wonderful beach townhouse close to everything!

We stayed for 5 nights and had a fabulous time. This place is close to everything we wanted to do on our vacation. We stayed with 4 adults and 1 child and had plenty of room for all of us to stay comfortably for the entire stay. Our original plan was to stay for 4 nights but when we decided we wanted to stay for one more night Maria made it very easy to extend our stay. She was very responsive to our texts and made our stay wonderful. The backyard is gorgeous and green and backs up to the walking street that is steps from the beach and pier. The only complaint I have is that a lot of the neighbors use the backyard to cut through to the walking street so there is not much privacy. But everyone we encountered was very pleasant and friendly. The tenant in the unit next door, Oliver, was eager to give us a lot of recommendations on great places to eat and all of his suggestions did not disappoint.

Shared laundry with the other tenants was a bit challenging but was easily solved with a bit of old fashioned communication. Both of the other tenants were very friendly and accommodating.

Beach cruiser rental is a 2 minute walk away and we really enjoyed riding all the way up to Santa Monica (about a 30 minute leisurely ride up the boardwalk) and playing on the pier.

Almost everything you need is within walking distance. We did bring our car and found it much cheaper to drive about 10 minutes away to Ralph's in Marina Del Rey to stock up on groceries rather than shopping at the beachside markets.

Kitchen was fully stocked with all needed items to cook most of our meals and BBQ out back worked great. Comfy beds and large bedrooms made for a great stay! All linens were included and all were in great shape and comfortable.

Overall a great stay and would highly recommend it. We will definitely be back next time we are in Venice Beach!

clean but sparse

The property was clean and in a good location. However, there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 4 days. My directions to get into the property were confusing and the gates and doors were literally wide open. Someone kept parking in our reserved spot too. I texted the owner 1x with a question, and she text back she was on a tel-con and would get back to me later. I think having shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, etc, would have made for a better stay as hotels even provide these items. It was a bit of a pain looking for a market in an area unfamiliar to me.

perfect location

Above anything else, this property is in an ideal location...quiet spot yet quick access to the beach. The unit is clean and updated. Maria, the owner, was quick and responsive to a couple issues we had. (One being the non-working grill, which is very old, and assume will be replaced soon. And with the grill not working for us to cook our meal, she brought a nice grill pan to tide us thru)The 2 bedrooms with queen beds were bright and sunny and very comfortable beds. The sofa sleeper would be better suited to a child...not comfortable for any of our 5 adults who tried it. Had wished the kitchen had a few more staples, such as a chefs knife, plastic wrap or foil, and cooking oil, but if we hadn't done our grocery shopping trip before seeing the unit, we'd have known that. We hope to return, but probably with just 4 adults and not 5.

Very clean and convenient

Very clean and spacious. Close to beach/boardwalk which was really nice. Only steps away from coffee 😊�. One thing to know about California is bring some kind of grocery bags or u will have to pay for them. Overall nice place. Would stay here again if we're in Venice beach.

This apartment is in the perfect location for people that want to be in the middle of it all but enjoy a quiet home away from home. It's a couple of hundred feet of Venice beach and Venice pier, lots of cafes, bars, restaurants, all sorts of beach activities and of course LA's #1 tourist attraction: the Venice boardwalk.

If you have business in town the 90 freeway is 5 minutes away and connects directly with the 405. Santa Monica with main st., Santa Monica place shopping and 3rd st promenade shopping is 5 minutes away by car. Abbot kinney blvd - the new hot spot for cafes, bars, restaurants and shopping in Venice is right around the corner. All major museums and concert halls like Disney or the Getty are easily reachable. There is so much to do for all kind of tastes it's too much to list.

If you can think about it you can probably find it in the greater Los Angeles region . If you have specific wishes or needs please let me know at the time of booking - I'll try to accommodate you as much as possible.
