About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this homeour team is standing by!

Beach Charm to Beach Charmless

 • 1 of 5

Very disappointed. Stayed here before and so it was our only choice because we loved it. We brought different people with us this time and had talked up about the charm of the rental. Boy, were we not happy this time! The floors were very dirty, garbage strewn outside, sand in some bedding, sinks with dirt and hair. WI-fi was not working for us, screens not replaced, house smelled musty, bedding smelled musty, light bulbs burned out in every room. The lamp shades on the walls had been broken, some lights were broken so that you couldn't turn them on.

We did enjoy the big TV that was added to the front room. Towels were clean, and we had plenty, kitchen was well stocked, washer and dryer are always a plus.

We had a great time in Rockaway Beach, just not happy with our rental.

Quirky place, great for kids

 • 4 of 5

This house must have a crazy add-on history! The kids loved the sleeping arrangements, but there were a lot of places to stub toes or hit foreheads.

There were a few things not maintained: front porch lights were out, there were missing screens in some upstairs windows, and the upstairs toilet seemed to run for no reason.

All told though, it was a good rental and we'd rent it again.

Great fit for one family, but tight fit for two.

 • 4 of 5

It's always a toss up when you rent a house without seeing it first. We had two families so four adults and seven kids ranging in ages from 5-17. Our first impression was good. Cute and quaint. Kitchen and dining area with long table were great. Living areas and main bedroom and two of the bathrooms were nice. However, the upstairs space is tight. My husband and I along with our three older kids (11, 14, 17) stayed in the upstairs room. Very tight squeeze and plan on bonking your head a few times. Two outer beds were comfy but the middle bed was rough. It was convenient to have a bathroom upstairs (no shower just tub) but the toilet is in the middle of the room. Your knees hit the wall when you use it. Bottom line is we wouldn't stay again with two families but it would work well for one with a lot of smaller kids. Location was nice and beach was great. I'm a clean freak and in my opinion it was pretty clean other than dusty shelves. Kitchen and house (blankets etc) had good supplies. Property management was helpful and attentive.

quirky, fun house

 • 4 of 5

Fun little old house that's been added on a lot! Great woodwork through out. Some original others added. 3 bathrooms, large well stocked kitchen with great table for after dinner kids board games and a door to drown out the noise in other areas of house. A small dining area off the living room is great for puzzles. and a Plethora of videos and video games. Located on a dead end. you can view the historical train as it comes by daily. The kids loved it. Walk to beach is easy on the wooded path.
