This large 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is located in the Sanibel View Condominium Association near the Sanibel Causeway. Sanibel View is a small gated community of 133 units that surround a beautiful 5 acre lake. The Mediterranean style architecture of the 7 buildings and lush landscape make for a tropical island feel. The two bedrooms will sleep up to 4. In addition to the large kitchen with all modern appliances, there is a formal dining room, living room, and computer station with high speed wireless Internet access. There is an under-building enclosed garage to park your vehicle and keep it out of the sun. Sanibel View offers a Clubhouse with workout equipment, lighted tennis courts, walking trail, sunning beach, heated pool and spa.
Just back from ten days vacation at Jim’s condomium in Sanibel View. This is our second year with Jim, we stayed in Building 7, Apartment 104. This apartment is only minutes from Sanibel Island, minutes from the beaches and minutes from the restaurants on San Carlos Blvd and Fort Myers Beach. Good spot is Bonita Bills, under San Carlos Bvd bridge, more local less touristy bar, with good (if simple) less expensive food and good music.
The apartment is very quiet, the balcony faces onto Bunche Beach Preserve, sunrise and sunset views. At night, due to absence of manmade light, you have wonderful views of the night sky.
Both bedrooms come with own bathrooms.
Fully equipped kitchen, even an electric kettle (rare in the US).
Laundry room with top loading washer and dryer, also an ironing board.
The pool area is very clean, pool itself is heated, and for for a real cool-down, stand under the outdoor shower.
Security is worth mentioning, access to Sanibel View is controlled by keypad or radio control gates, you have own basement garage (radio controlled door) for car, with lifts (elevator) to all floors.
Jim (the owner) is a hands on landlord, with a local family presence if needed. He is only a phone call away himself and any questions I had were quickly answered.
I will be coming back. Jim has even promised me a bigger unit next time.
This condo was absolutely beautiful! The central location to the beach, restaurants and tiki bars was perfect, as well as the lake and view outside the building.
The amenities in the condo were far more than we expected. We have stayed at other condos but always brought our own provisions. We now know that when we come here again, we will only need our clothes and personal toiletries. That will make our lives so much easier with packing.
You and your family made us feel so welcome and for that we thank you. We have so many beautiful memories of our vacation because of our stay at this location We hope to visit again soon. Thank you again.
The Sanibel View condo was a beautiful place to stay. The grounds and general area are well maintained every day. We felt like this condo was our home during our stay - very quiet and comfortable. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed everything about it. The owners were fantastic people and met us when we arrived. We did not rent a car during our stay, rather we rented bikes (close by) and used the Ft. Meyers Uber drivers to get around. It was great to have a grocery store so close. I would highly recommend the Sanibel View to anyone.
This is a very nice condo that is less than one mile to the Sanibel Causeway. Well maintained and very comfortable. Also easy access to outlets, Publix, Walmart, and several good restaurants. A lovely welcome basket was there upon my arrival.
Our trip was amazing. With many serious health complications back home with our puppy, we finally found time to enjoy a quick trip to Florida. Upon arrival at Sanibel View we found the complex extremely well maintained and manicured. The condo itself was very clean, open and inviting. The view of the plumeria trees from the balcony was absolutely picturesque. Bunchee Beach is just down the street and wildlife was abundant. The condos proximity to Sanibel and Captiva Islands was just what we had hoped for in our vacation plans.
But best of all was the support, communication and preparation by the owners. All were amazing. All the way to our favorite, Coke Zero, cold in the fridge. We loved every second of our trip.

Came to Ft Myers for a baseball tournament. The condo was very clean and comfortable.....perfect for a couple coaches like us. I liked that it was a gated community, it had 2 master suites essentially, and that we had use of the garage. The grounds were beautifully kept and the place was very quiet and peaceful. And throughout the entire process from reserving the place, to check-in and check-out the owner was always quick to reply to emails and calls. Thank you.
The property was very nicely cared for. The location made access to Sannibel and Ft Myers beach easy to access. Shopping was within walking distance. The owner excelled at making us welcome.
