Newly renovated (including new Kitchen in 2015) end unit on the top floor of Tower 1 of Ocean Sands, an oceanfront landmark known for its high standards and upkeep.
Sweeping views of the beach and ocean from a long 30' balcony, accessible from the Living Room & Master Bedroom. Water views from all rooms, with windows on three sides of this corner apartment.
Our Guests: Primarily Canadian couples; also European couples and American families (maximum 4 people). Over 2/3 of our rentals are returning guests.
Ocean Sands is secure (24 hour coverage), offers a large heated pool and spa, covered parking (assigned space), and more.
The building caters to mature couples, many of them full-time residents. We and our neighbors enjoy the quiet, friendly, and calm atmosphere which Ocean Sands provides.

Note: Ocean Sands enforces a two-week minimum stay and we encourage rentals of one month or more. One-week rentals CANNOT be accommodated, due to condo association rules.
Comfort & Roominess throughout: Spacious Living Room has room-width door wall with access to the large balcony, & views to the north & southwest. A leather couch (NOT a sleeper-sofa), recliner, and swivel tub chair provide seating for 4, with ottomans offering additional space. Dining Area offers ocean views, large glass-topped table, & 4 chairs.
Master Bedroom has wide door wall with access to the balcony & ocean views. It has a King bed, large walk-in closet (clothes hamper & abundant hangers), extensive storage, & comfortable reading chair and light. Recently-renovated Master Bathroom provides dual vanities, & separate toilet & bathtub/shower room. There is a large soaking bathtub/shower (with secure assist handles) & new comfort height toilet.
Second Bedroom has a Queen bed, large closet & other storage, along with a reading chair & light. Renovated Second Bathroom has large walk-in shower, single sink/vanity, toilet, and linen closet.
Living Room and both bedrooms were re-carpeted in 2013.
Completely new Kitchen (2015) has a large window looking onto Boca Ciega Bay, & the Office Nook has a computer table with slide-out keyboard tray, laser printer (USB & wireless), & a rolling desk chair.
Kitchen features granite countertops, Frigidaire Gallery stainless steel appliances, including French Door Refrigerator, Convection Range/Oven, Microwave, and Dishwasher. There is also a garbage disposal.
High-quality small appliances include a Keurig coffee maker, regular drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, mixer, griddle, tea kettles, electric can opener, and chopper.
Plenty of space is available for storing supplies in the Kitchen cabinets or hall pantry. Dinnerware, stainless steel cookware, and utensils are designed to allow comfortable long-term stays and entertaining with no constraints on meal preparation.
30 foot balcony is newly re-carpeted (2014), with a chaise lounge, side table, & eating table with four chairs.
Amenities & entertainment are state-of-the-art: New furniture and electronics, including premium speed wireless internet, wireless & USB laser printer, LCD flat screen TV's & Blu-Ray players in Living Room (46"), Master Bedroom (42"), & Second Bedroom (32"). Premium cable boxes with expanded channel selection for the Living Room and Master Bedroom offer 75 HD (High Definition) channels. Over 100 Blu-Ray DVD's, paperback books, & games are provided for your enjoyment.
Living Room and each bedroom have Verilux reading lamps & reading chairs. 3 Cordless phones, with free calling within the U.S. and Canada.
Dine in the neighborhood or at home: Within easy walking distance are Italian and French restaurants, 2 bars/grilles, a coffee shop, and 2 ice cream shops. A short drive (or 30-minute walk on the beach) to John's Pass provides a wide variety of other restaurants, including Bubba Gumps and Hooters, along with local venues. Gulf Boulevard in both directions offers a huge choice of eating options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Driving inland for a short distance offers McDonald's, Starbucks, Village Inn, Texas Roadhouse, etc.
There is a full-size washer and dryer (new for 2015), iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, broom, and shopping trolley.
For the beach, we have towels, chairs, and an umbrella.

Had a great time!
This lovely condo has been tastefully renewed, everything is clean modern. Everything we needed was there, and the owners emailed several times to make sure we were ok. This end unit is much more private, as you don't have anyone walking past your windows to get to the elevator. You will love it here!

This is the second time we have stayed in the apartment and we would not dream of staying anywhere else in Madeira beach. The owners are a pleasure to work with and really make you feel welcome; I can honestly say it feel like a second home to me.
The last review says it’s better than a 5 star hotel and I certainly agree!

This is a corner unit on the 12th floor. Views are breathtaking. Water everywhere you look. The condo has been completely updated (new kitchen, appliances, etc). High quality linens, utensils, etc. Very well organized. Everything you need and no junk! Detailed instructions on how to use everything. If you can read, you will have no problems with anything, I highly recommend this condo!
This is a corner unit and on the top floor. Water everywhere you look. Two large door walls facing the ocean. Sleep feeling you're at the beach! Everything updated.. Has everything you could possibly want. No clutter. Detailed information on how to use everything. Better than a 5 star hotel.

Very Relaxing Property
We have just returned to the Uk from this lovely property after a really relaxing break. The owner was a pleasure to work with both before and during our stay. The accommodation was bright and spotless in a lovely quiet and friendly complex. There was everything you would need for a comfortable stay with plenty of beach towels and chairs and a really comfy bed. Like the last review we used the second shower as it suited us and for us Brits a kettle is a must which you do not often find in American accommodation so thanks Jack for that. We had a great visit and hope to return.
On the beach and easily accessible to everything! Restaurants, shops, pharmacy, 7-Eleven, ATM's, hair salon, groceries, Library, U.S. Post Office, and recreation within walking distance. A short drive to major shopping (Tyrone Square Mall), historic John's Pass, and other attractions. Tampa International Airport is 45 minutes away. Downtown St. Petersburg is 30 minutes by car, Ellenton Premium Outlets 45 minutes, Sarasota Ringling Museum 1 hour, Busch Gardens 1 hour, and Orlando Disney World 2 hours. While a vehicle is recommended, once you arrive at Ocean Sands, you could easily enjoy the services within walking distance, and/or take the Suncoast Beach Trolley, which goes up and down Gulf Boulevard from Clearwater to Pass-A-Grille, and can be ridden at a nominal charge. The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) runs regular bus service as well, with a stop directly across from our condo. Other Activities: College & professional sports teams, Chihuly Glass Collection, Dali Museum, Ybor City, and many more.
