Why Mark Stowes chose Falmouth Heights
My grandparents had a home on Great Bay, which is the next bay over from where this house is located - this home is on a bay called Little Pond. My mother now lives in my grandparents' home. I have wonderful childhood memories of summers on the Cape, including boating, fishing, crabbing, clamming and quahogging on the bays and swimming in the ocean. Also, there are many lovely places to walk and bike along the bays and beaches.
What makes this House unique
I love the beautiful, panoramic views of the bay and ocean. It's tranquil and wonderful to watch the swans, ducks, geese and other water fowl on the bay. It's a great place to kayak, walk, and then relax with a cup of coffee on the deck. The sunrises and sunsets are just beautiful. The home is centrally-located. It's within a mile to the main ocean. It's easy to walk or bike to historic downtown Falmouth and other shopping areas. Falmouth Heights is a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with lovely bay and ocean views. The people you meet are all very pleasant.

A great house in a beautiful location
This house more than lived up to the description given. It is impressive in size, having three bedrooms upstairs, one at deck level and a lower level apartment, and is situated right on the water (Little Pond, Falmouth). There was certainly enough room for everyone to find a bit of personal space if they wanted, to watch one of the many TV channels available on the large TV, read a book in the sunroom, lounge on the deck or make use of the kayaks provided. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and has modern appliances, coffeemaker, food mixer, etcetera - just like being at home! Falmouth itself is a lovely little town and is well situated for driving further up the Cape. The owner, Mark, was a delight to deal with and responded to any questions and queries immediately in a helpful and friendly manner. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone planning to visit the area.
Our second stay in the house - just as nice as we remembered!
This was our second stay in the house. We liked it so much when we vacationed with one side of the family that we booked it again to vacation with the other side! The house has plenty of space, open kitchen and dining area, beautiful deck, and an unbeatable location - close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. The only thing we wished we had was more time! We scheduled so many fun activities that we didn't have enough time to just relax on the deck, play in the yard, or go kayaking on the pond. Maybe next time! :)
Family vacation paradise
We had another wonderful stay at our home away from home. The house is beautifully maintained and the location is perfect. We walk to the beach and downtown and then come come back to total tranquility. The house is set up so everyone has their own space. My daughter loved having the upstairs for her family and the 4 grandparents had there quiet space. Definitely returning next year.
Our family really enjoyed our stay
Convienent location, comfortable and very well equipped house. Quiet neighborhood and easy beach access. We especially enjoyed our morning kayak time on the pond. Great for outdoor eating and relaxing. We would surely recommend.
We LOVE this property!!!
We can't say enough positive about this house!!! The location of the house, right next to the water inlet, couldn't be better. It is also only a few blocks from the ocean, which has a beautiful beach. The floor plan of the house is perfect for a family, or a group of friends. The condition of the house is terrific. The house also has a deck you can sit on outside, and enjoy a meal. The owner has provided two kayaks that you can take kayaking in the water inlet. In addition, there are many good restaurants and shops in Falmouth, not that far from the house. We can't wait to go back and stay in this house in the future!!!
This house more than met our needs. We went with two families, and there was plenty of room in this tidy house. The house was charming, and the deck was relaxing and complete with a peaceful and beautiful view. The beds were very comfortable. The home is walkable to many places. The owner is very prompt and thorough to answer questions. This was a great find.
