Great ski house
We stayed for a ski trip with a group of friends recently from Fri-Sun. The house had plenty of room, was in great condition, and had a hot tub which was a great touch. The location was a close drive to the mountain, and also was within the radius for the "Barrel Rider" shuttle to pick us up for going out at night. The owners were very accessible and helpful throughout the process, and reached out at the beginning of our stay to make sure there was nothing we needed and that all was well with the house, which was much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.
Perfect house for a couple of families or large group
House is clean, spacious and has a couple of great common areas for hanging out.
Thanks Mark - it was nice to have you and your friends. We hope to see you again next year.
Great house for large weekend gatherings.
Had a pleasant rental process with the owners who were quick to answer all my questions. The house has a great common area on the first floor that can accommodate all of the guests. Bedrooms aren't crowded, and there are sufficient bathrooms to allow quick mornings prior to skiing. Kitchen is very well stocked.
Great property, lovely hosts
We had a group of 8 and the home was definitely a great place to accommodate our bunch. The amenities were as described and the hot tub, fantastic. The owners of the property were able to be flexible with arrival time and departure time, which was appreciated. The home is located about 1.5 miles from the main Killington resort and about 8 miles from the back entrance Gondola (a nice plus if you have equipment). we will be back. Thanks again, guys!
Wonderful, exactly what we were looking for!
Quaint and just perfect for our needs. Great kitchen, wonderful for walking to Kent pond and then relaxing in front of the fireplace! Loved the wooded setting.
My group of 10 had a great visit and no issues what so ever during our stay. The house had plenty of room for our big group (including plenty of extra room for additional guest if you have a bigger party), a great game selection in their updated game room (bottom floor) and great hot tub perfect for after the slopes.
I would highly recommend staying at this house. On top of the location and house being perfect, Marlene and Jim made the whole process extremely easy and very welcoming. They always had a rapid response whether through email, text or phone, even though I did not have to contact once with any complaints.
Our house is one mile from Killington Access Road (one mile from the corner of Route 100 and Route 4 - Bills Country Store) - on the north side of Kent pond.
You are right near all the action of Killington' s restaurants and bars and slopes, and surrounded by the beauty of Vermont.
The property borders protected forest land which connects to the Mountain Meadows Cross Country Ski trails. You can ski or snowshoe right out the back door. In the summer, you can hike through to access Kent Pond (it is larger than you think). Also, brand new this year 2017, there is a mountain bike trail system in the forest behind our house, easily accessible.
If there is going to be snow anywhere on the east coast, Killington will have the most!!!
Other Activities: Dog sledding, tubing, canoeing
Ski: Our house is 1 mile from the Access road of Killington, Vermont. If there is snow in the northeast - Killington will have the most. It is great for all types of skiiers. We are also very close to Pico mountain (killington's sister mountain), too. So if you want a more relaxed ski experience, ski here as well. If you want to drive about an hour to experience something different, you can also access Sugarbush to the north or Okemo to the south.
