Quaint 1 bedroom for your beach getaway with a 3rd floor Gulf view deck
About Danny Chin
We have been married for 30 years and have recently discovered the 'Art of Hospitality'. 'We never thought we would be in the hospitality industry, but absolutely love it. We enjoy meeting our new friends and doing what is necessary to make their stay a memorable one.
Danny Chin purchased this House in 2013
Why Danny Chin chose Bradenton Beach
When we first saw Anna Maria Island, we were surprised at how little it was built up and how the waters were so clear. It truly is 'Old Florida'. It rivals many Caribbean destinations and is in our backyard. No passports required! This hale (home) caught our attention because Suite 1 was an original beach bungalow built in 1924. Since then additions have been added that have really utilized it's proximity to the beach.
What makes this House unique
Our hale (pronounced Ha-lay) has a third floor rooftop deck that gives guest a unparalleled view of the beach and Gulf of Mexico. The memories of sunsets will carry you through the dark cold winters of up north. The homes interior have been designed by us and all the renovation work was done by Dan, Dan truly loves envisioning how the house should look and have it come together. Because we live nearby and are hands on, any issues or request are handled immediately. The suites were designed with what we felt would bring the most enjoyment for our guest. All of the suites have been fully refurbished with Italian Travetine tile in the kitchen and bathroom and bamboo flooring elsewhere. Beachside is centrally located in Bradenton Beach. The historic Bridge Street is a block away and top restaurants and activities are all just a short walk away. Walk, take the free trolley or drive, it's your choice.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Enjoyed our stay at Bradenton Beach so much! Such a relaxing, easy vacation....will definitely be back!
Anna Maria Beach Vacation
I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The Chin Familt was so hospitable and accommodating. Our condo was great. Communication was excellent. Exceeded all expectations.
Fantastic location and great room!
We were so happy with our stay! The place was clean, updated and had everything we needed. Having a coded door lock made checking in and out hassle free—so easy. Bed was comfy and the location was great. Would definitely stay there again.
Nice close to the beach & bridge street lots of stores
Clean & relaxing, very accommodating host. Checked on us & ask if everything was ok & friendly
Well maintained nice place!
This apartment is a great spot. Easy quick walk to the beach or to the pier. The beach is gorgeous...beautiful white sand and lots of shells for the shell collector. Apartment was very clean and well maintained. We had a rental car but didn’t really need it—found lots of great restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. Danny and Brenda were very quick to answer questions and helpful.
We booked this unit based on the reviews and discriptions on the posting, and we weren’t disappointed. The owners were always responsive with questions and obviously take pride in their properties.
The location couldn’t be better. You literally are 150 feet from the beach....but that’s not the only thing that is so close. There is a Circle K convenience store (not a gas station👍) across the street; great for morning coffee, donuts for the kids, snacks, ice and drinks.
The beach is awesome. White sand and torques water. We had a dolphin swim within 10 feet of us while we were swimming in the ocean. It wasn’t uncommon to see the dolphins swim along the coastline. The sunsets speak for themselves...a must do every night.
Again with the location...dining and shopping is about 150 feet away also. This is a small island that is not your typical tourist location, this is old Florida and not a resort town. The shops are small mom and pop stores and there aren’t a ton of them. As the island goes, Bradenton is definitely the more active area as almost everything north on the island closes at 5 pm. Dining is plentiful for a week stay or shorter.
The location makes this such a relaxing vacation. You can park your car and not have to touch your keys for a week. Walk to the beach. Walk to dinner. Walk to shop. Walk to catch a sunset cruise. Walk the pier and watch local fisherman (it was cool to see them catch a shark). Walk to shell. Or just walk to walk.
The unit was clean and well taken care of. The owners were very responsive. The location and beach is amazing. If you book, you will not be disappointed!!! This is a slower pace than other coast towns.
Definitely come here for the sunsets, but plan to stay for the
sunrises, too. Anna Maria Island—a wisp of a seven-mile island
along Florida's West Coast—is a place that revels in the end of day. As the sun slips spectacularly past the horizon, bongs clang, music plays, cameras click, and viewers try to guess the exact time of daylight's finale. Yes, it's a nightly celebration not to be missed, but come morning, you still will find plenty to do until the evening ritual starts again.
Anna Maria Island still retains the 'Old Florida' feel that makes this a great place to bring your family. No huge condos or resorts helps keep the beaches uncrowded.
Don't want to drive after you arrive, no problem, we have a free trolley that runs the length of the island.
Eateries abound from inexpensive cheap eats to a top rated Zagat's restaurant. You can relax on the beach while sipping your favorite sunset libations while listening to live music at one of the beach side eateries.
A favorite activity is the Ice Cream Crawl where you hit all the ice cream shops on the island. (Think Duval St Bar Crawl in Key West but the kids can participate in this one.
Love nature? Aside from seeing dolphins swimming in the Gulf and a multitude of sea birds, Robinson's Preserve (Free Admission) nearby offers 4 miles of hiking and biking trails, a 5-story observation tower that offers a panoramic view of the area and kayaking through lush mangroves.
