The Neighborhood

One block from the riverfront park, which has bike and walking paths and even a bird sanctuary. A 5-min walk to the stretch of Wellington that has Verdun’s best restaurants, cafes and bars.

Located in the southwest corner of Montreal, Verdun was founded as a separete city in 1671. It's still an up-and-coming area, but if you wander Wellington you'll find some great restaurants and an outpost of the city's best brewery, Benelux. Stroll in the lovely riverfront park or hop on the metro and be downtown in 10 minutes.

Getting Around

A 7-min walk to either Verdun or De l’Eglise metro stations where you can catch the green line and be downtown in 10 mins. If you’re driving, then you’re in luck! Street parking in this area is free and it’s usually pretty easy to find a spot.

Other Things to Note

• 1 bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the other has 2 twin beds, which can be put together if you’d like.

• The TV is automatically hooked up to a Netflix account if you want to watch movies.

This is our go-to place to stay when visiting Montreal

Clean, quiet, pleasant, convenient to shops, Metro, parkland along the St. Lawrence. Gracious, helpful hosts. Perfect in every way.

Good fit for family. Good owners. Well kept place.

  • 5 of 5

I was with my family of 6. 3 kids under 6. And this place was much more comfortable than expected. It is exactly as described. And close to the metro station just as desribed. Although we didn't take much advantage of the Verdun area, it was definitely a cool little area that is very quiet. We had no problem getting around using the subway and bus system giving how close the place was to a bus stop and a metro station. Nathan keeps his place clean and is ready to help any way he can. Just a good stay all across the board and would recommend to anybody, even with a family.

Thanks guys!

Liked so much we came back

  • 5 of 5

We liked this apartment so much when we first rented it a year ago, we booked to stay again. Generous-sized kitchen, two bedrooms, clean and well-maintained, the apartment is in a very convenient location near stores, restaurants and the Metro. Nathan and Cynthia were gracious hosts, checking to make sure we had all we needed and responding immediately to our one request. We'll definitely try to book again when we next visit Montreal.

Pleasant, clean, convenient to everything

  • 5 of 5

Lovely apartment in Verdun, just off lively and interesting Wellington and a short walk to the St. Lawrence River. Verdun is rapidly changing, with new restaurants, high end home decor and bookstores to discover each time we visit. The excellent La Fromagerie is just a block away. Only 5-minute walk to the Metro's Green Line. The apt. is exactly as advertised and pictured with updated bathroom and kitchen facilities and comfortable beds. Our hosts were friendly and available not only to answer questions but to find out if we needed anything. When our hosts were notified that the city would be doing construction work during our upcoming visit, they gave us the choice to cancel the reservations without penalty, or take the place with a reduced rent. We decided to stay anyway, and we're glad we did. We'd definitely try to book here again when we next visit Montreal.

nice flat in a lively area close to bus and metro

  • 4 of 5

We stayed for ten days in this flat and it was perfect for us with two children (13/18 years old).

The metro station to downtown was a few minutes walk over wellington street, a street with lots of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the fish and chips bar close to the flat. The bus station to downtown was around the corner.

The park and the river is nearby, a nice walking and jogging course for us.

The hospitality team was helpful and friendly unfortunately only via phone and email. We would have wished to have a personal contact, also some written information in the flat would have been helpful, especially if you are not a native speaker.

All in all we had a got time and we would recommend the property to our friends.
