Great 2 Bedroom + Loft, 2 Bath Unit. 4 star rating. Sleeps 8-10 comfortably. Main floor remodeled with vinyl floors, granite countertops, refinished cabinets, baseboards and paint. Bedrooms and bathrooms updated with new paint, baseboards and casings!! Brand new sleep sofa with memory foam mattress!

Enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and trees from the oversized deck. The condo has a full kitchen with new range, dishwasher, microwave & coffee maker. There is a BBQ on the deck, 4 TVs throughout the house and lots of games. Relax and keep warm by the fire without stoking the wood all night with a thermostat controlled pellet stove! The complex has an outdoor spa, sauna and ping pong table.

Mammoth View Villas is located off of Lakeview Blvd and once you arrive there is no reason to get back in your car until you leave. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Village where you can access the gondola to Canyon Lodge and take advantage of all of the shops, restaurants and Village activities. If you don't feel like walking the shuttle stops right outside the complex.

The condos at Mammoth View Villas are not the typical 'hotel' style condos like a lot of the complexes. There are about 10 steps to get into the unit and it is tri-level inside. There is no one above or below you and only one neighbor to the side. The condo is very private and quiet and it has an over sized deck to enjoy the views from. There is plenty of open space around the condo where the kids can play in the snow and go sledding!

Downstairs has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The main level has the kitchen, dining room and living room and upstairs has the second bathroom and loft. Bedroom #1 has a king bed, Bedroom #2 has a Queen and twin bed, there is a new sleep sofa with memory foam mattress in the living room and the loft has a twin over full bunk bed. All rooms have TV and Cable and there is WiFi as well.

Why Erin McCall chose Mammoth Lakes

In 2008 we bought a studio+loft in the same complex. Soon after we had 2 kids and quickly started outgrowing it. In 2011 prices were right so we decided to start looking for something bigger that would work for our family for years to come. We loved the layout and location of Mammoth View Villas condos so we decided to buy this unit.

What makes this condo unique

We looked at sooooo many properties and we choose this one because of the views of the Sierras. I wanted a condo with a cabin feel and this one was it! You look out to wilderness and beauty and not the guy next door. And the other thing we loved about the condo is its location, location, location. Once we arrive in Mammoth we don't like to drive. We are a 3 minute walk to the Village and never have to fight the crowds getting a parking space.

Clean and tidy place with challenging heater system

We liked staying at this condo because of its cleanness and all its aminities. It is very close to Mammoth Village (walking distance) and short driving distance to restaurants and beautiful lakes. Our only challenge was getting the heaters up and running and make the condo warm enough for us and for our toddler. The owner sent us a long instruction on how to turn on the heaters as a part of check-in information but we were not sure why they installed such a complicated heater system that is so confusing and needs a lot of focusing upon your arrival in a cold condo.

Owner's Response: I am glad that you were happy with the condo overall. I do wish that you would of contacted me regarding the pellet stove. It's always a bummer when the first time you are notified about an issue is on a review. : / The heating system in the condo is quite simple. The main level has 2 wall heaters and each bedroom has a wall heater as well. The wall heaters are controlled by thermostats that have up and down buttons to adjust the temperature. The main level also has a pellet stove that provides ample heat. I occasionally have renters that want to fidget with settings and therefore I have a detailed instruction sheet with directions on what to and not to touch. The pellet stove is controlled with an on/off switch and thermostat and you need to manually put pellets in it. When functioning properly it is very simple to use. My best guess in this case is the stove may of needed to be cleaned due to it going off automatically due to cold weather while it was vacant. When the condo is vacant for a period of time this can happen. Had you called, I could of walked you through a few simple steps in less than 5 minutes and the stove would of been up and running during your stay. I apologize for the inconvenience and I hope you will give us another chance on your next trip to Mammoth!

Great family getaway in Mammoth

This place was perfect for our mini-reunion. The condo wasn't large but it was adequate for our group of 5. The kitchen was well appointed and the seating was comfy. Beds were comfortable and the limited space was efficiently utilized. Erin was very communicative and easy to work with. Thanks for a lovely vacation!

Great location...short walk to the Village.

Owner Was quick to respond when we needed help with the pellet fireplace. Only negative was the shower head was a bit low...The proximity to the Village allowed us to park the car and walk to the gondola and to dinner.

Great location, close to the village

This is a great condo, near the village. My boys and I walked there 3 times. The spa is wonderful, set on a very private balcony on the second layer of the club house. House is warm once the pellet stove has been fired up. If anything, our trip was only marred by one thing. Too much snow!! Snow! Snow ! Snow! We had to dig our selves out 3 times. Nice!
