This was a wonderful place to stay on our Austin vacation. Plenty of space. Very clean. Nice remodel. Literally 2 minutes from fun SoCo area. Really close to downtown. Accommodating owner. Would strongly recommend to visitors.

An Excellent Vacation Rental.

Jim's cottage is very well laid out for a family of three grown boys, with space for everyone to retreat or gather. The kitchen is more than adequately stocked with all sorts of pans and pots for gourmet cooking.

During our stay we discovered a trail and creek just a block away and a university two blocks away so that people can jog on the campus. The location is definitely central to everything, such as daily basic needs or sightseeing. One suggestion is to provide a kettle and a pair of scissors. For Asian families like us, a rice cooker would be appreciated.

What a great place to stay!

We had a fantastic thanksgiving holiday in this very roomy and comfortable home. The owner, Jim Clark went out of his way to make sure we had every thing we needed and even subscribed to ESPN so that my football crazy husband could watch all of his games that weekend. The home is on a very quiet and wonderfully located subdivision right by St. Edwards University and near the whole fun crazy South Congress area. There were two separate living areas both with tvs and three cozy bedrooms. Plenty of blankets and pillows and everything a person could need. He even left us paper plates and trash bags and all of those things that a person hates to mess with on a trip. We will definitely stay here again and give the house and Mr. Clark a big thumbs up!
