Privacy is what A LOVER'S HIDEAWAY is all about, tucked away in a natural park like setting against Bluff Mountain, located about 5 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge, approximately 8 miles from Dollywood and about 14 miles from Gatlinburg. Deep in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, A Lovers HIDEAWAY offers a loft king bedroom with a LCD flatscreen TV, a view of the treetops, and all the privacy you will need to celebrate your romantic getaway. Sit back and relax in the hot tub on your private porch or warm your toes by the woodburning fireplace and cuddle up. A LOVERS HIDEAWAY is a true log cabin with all the comforts of home, including a fully equipped kitchen and a flat screen tv in the great room. Location is super. . tucked away with privacy for relaxation but close to all Pigeon Forge has to offer!

If you like to ski, check out Ober Gatlinburg in downtown Gatlinburg! Cades Cove is not far, so if you're a nature lover or like old historical places, check it out. It is an 11 mile loop through a well preserved old settlement, with log homes, barns, and churches, along with an abundance of wildlife. If you're a fisherman, the Pigeon River is about 20 minutes away, and the National Park is about 30 minutes away.

Some of the other many attractions include: Dollywood, Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg, Tanger Outlet Mall, Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The Biltmore House in Asheville is not too far away, along with Harrah's Casino in Cherokee.

**If this cabin is booked for your desired dates, check out VRBO #367295, #369981, and #617953, they are all 1 Bedrooms just like Lover's Hideaway in the same area.

**Or if you need a 2 or 3 bedroom,, check out my other rentals, VRBO #447602 & #502554.

***WE DO NOT REFUND BECAUSE YOU CANNOT GET TO THE CABIN DUE TO WEATHER OR ANY OTHER REASON. THEREFORE, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING TRIP INSURANCE.

**Rates are subject to change at any time before a reservation is confirmed.

**Fireplace is in operation from October 1 to March 31st only.

**We do not allow pets or smoking.

My husband and I live in East Tennessee and love the Smoky Mountains. We have several cabins and enjoy sharing them with our guests.

Why Lezlee chose East

We love Bluff Mountain where all our cabins are located. We thought this cabin would be perfect for honeymoon or anniversary couples, or those just wanting to get away!

What makes this cabin unique

A LOVER'S HIDEAWAY is tucked away from it all in the mountains, but still within minutes of everything on the Parkway!

Beautiful cabin... disappointed in location.

  • 2 of 5

We were disappointed that there was another cabin right next door & 2 more just up the mountain. There was very little quiet in the evening since the cabin just up the mountain were partying every night. The ad was very misleading in the distance of the cabins from each other.

Owner's Response: Well, apparently 88 other reviewers disagree with this! It simply isn't true at all that my ad is misleading. . . . it does not say this is the only cabin in the area. And my cabins are not on top of each other by any means anyway. It's unrealistic to think there would only be one cabin on that much land. As a matter of fact, it's difficult to find cabins that sit totally alone. . . a lot of them are in resorts and much closer together! I'm sorry this guest didn't enjoy the cabin. . . but everyone else does! Lezlee :)

Would rent again!

  • 5 of 5

I took my wife to this cabin for our anniversary and we were both quite pleased. It was perfect size for the two of us. It was pretty private, away from the main roads. I had read in another review that the neighboring cabin was right on top of this one. I can personally say that it is not. There is a fair gap between the two. The cabin is well located. Very close to the three main Smoky destinations (Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville). It's a perfect getaway for regardless of the amount of time you are staying. We had no complaints about our stay, but did have a few small suggestions for potential improvement.

1) Oven mitts - There wasn't an oven mitt available (at least not that we could find). As these are pretty inexpensive, it might be an idea to put one in the kitchen as future renters won't think to bring that.

2) Knobs on stove - The temperatures and heat settings on the stove/oven knobs have faded. Maybe replace these.

3) Dish-brush or sponge - Dish rags were provided and were used, however sometimes when using pots & pans, it helps get things a little cleaner. (Not 100% necessary, but would be helpful.

All in all, I'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone else looking.

Honeymoon

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It's secluded and I loved that you could walk outside and not see your neighbor. We saw plenty of wild life including 4 turkeys and the mouse in the kitchen! He kept my husband up all night but besides that this is a great little place to stay if you want to get away for a while! Lezlee is also very helpful, if you follow her direction the cabin is easy to locate.

The property was quaint, quiet, secluded, beautiful.

  • 4 of 5

Great overall, nice little get away. The towels felt old, the DVD player was a little weird at times and didn't play some of the movies we bought. These are very small though in overall experience. The cabin was wonderful and we felt great coming back at the end of the day. So very easy to relax and to be together.
