Newly remodeled and decorated very clean home is perfectly located. Less than a mile from the Ocean and 17 Mile Drive, Spy Glass and Poppy Hills golf, the home is just minutes to Carmel, Pacific Grove and Monterey. It's pet friendly, has a spacious hot tub and Comcast Xfinity Internet/wifi and TV. There are decks off the living room and master bedroom and a patio with a BBQ. The large master bedroom has a king bed and the newly remodeled bathroom has double sinks and a tiled walk- in shower. The other bedrooms have a queen size bed and two twins and share the newly remodeled second bath with double sinks, a granite counter and tub with shower .

Wonderful place in Pebble Beach reasonably priced

This is a wonderful property to rent. Such a quiet, charming neighborhood. The neighbors wave when you walk/drive by. Fabulous location in the middle of 17 Mile Drive. Good hiking and walks to the Bird Rock or Seal Rock beach from the home. We saw a group of deer almost every day on our walks. We rented 5 bikes from "Adventures by the Sea" for several days to ride along the 17 Mile Drive, a perfect activity to do.

The accommodations were great for a family of five. Plenty of space. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. Wi-Fi and cable was good. The home was very clean. Hot tub in good working order. Carole Whitehill herself was a responsive hostess. We would definitely stay here again. In fact we inquired with Carole to visit again in August, however, her home is already booked.

Pebble Beach Getaway

This was a great place to oversleep! :) Such a quiet, charming neighborhood. People are out walking dogs, neighbors wave when you walk/drive by - all around very nice place to stay. The accommodations were great for a family of five. Plenty of space to gather for wine & cheese or to watch the Olympics together. Just a short power walk to Bird Rock or Seal Rock beach. Very convenient location for us as we spend a great deal of time in Carmel and Monterey when we are on the pennisula. It was especially nice having use of the garage/garage door opener as we did have some rain and cold weather while we were there. We would definitely stay here again.

So peaceful perfect home for dog lovers

This house was everything promised in the description. Lovely, comfortable, quiet. The kitchen is petty well stocked (only 1. Turing board, 1 1cuo measuring no tea/table spoons although there are some now we bought some). Beds are comfortable, very clean. Hot tub in perfect working order. The dogs truly enjoyed exploring the back yard. Christmas here was perfect. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Christmas in November

The month spent at Carole Whitehill’s Pebble Beach residence was a delight. The quiet neighborhood of curving streets and patches of open forest hosting dozens of deer, acorn woodpeckers, warblers, and raptors felt, and was, removed from the traffic and bustle of the nearby towns, but it actually (once we figured out the geography of the peninsula and the five Pebble Beach gates) was within easy distance of everything scenic, cultural, and, alas, medical that we needed—closer to these amenities than at home!

The Whitehill house was a perfect home base, well equipped for comfort and cooking and for launching daily forays up and down the coast. My husband appreciated the hot tub for his bad back (and the excellent Monterey Sport Center’s warm water exercise class), our dog enjoyed the freedom of the secure backyard and the many dog-friendly beaches and eateries, and I loved walking to 17-Mile Drive, around Pebble Beach, and along the trails of SFB Morse Botanical Reserve. Proximity to Asilomar with its guided bird walks; passes to the aquarium; music, theater, lectures, and films in Carmel, Pacific Grove, and Monterey made every day special. The splendid array of restaurants and delis offered happy adventures in dining out and taking out for picnics. Carole had said that November weather is usually fine, and it was. There was rain only twice, and sunshine every day—almost miraculous to Pacific northwesterners, who brought parkas and GoreTex and didn’t need them.

Carole Whitehill herself is a responsive hostess who attended to some unforeseen and unforeseeable glitches (e.g., a power outage left the furnace nonfunctional) with speed and grace. So many thoughtful touches—reading lamps! basic kitchen supplies!—made her home immediately livable. We very much hope to return.
