There is a 16’ x 11’ luxurious master bath with double vanity, Whirlpool tub and separate steam shower. Just coming from the beach? Outside there is a shower, changing room and 8’ x 8’ wooden storage shed on concrete slabs. The fenced-in backyard backs up to a nature preserve for total privacy. The pool is warm year-round thanks to the solar-heating panels on the roof. The spa spills over into the pool. Also aiding the relaxing environment is a fountain in the back corner of the lot.
In front of the house is a large horseshoe-shaped driveway, which easily fits 3 vehicles. There is also a one-car garage.
A short walk away ...
Exit the house to your left (west) and you will be walking on the flour-like sands of Indian Rocks Beach. Hail a trolley ($2-$3) and ride north to Clearwater Beach in 10 mins. or down to St. Pete's in 15.
Exit the house straight (north) and within 3 minutes you will be at a state-of-the-art skateboard park, basketball and tennis courts, and baseball field.
Exit to the right (east) and you will be at the cleanest playground you've ever seen, and at the back of it is an entrance to the nature preserve. The preserve is a new path (you're walking on boards with handrails elevated above the ground/water) that winds around the inlet (see Google Earth) and exits next to a dog park (if you brought your 'best friend,' he'll love this park, complete with fire hydrant!).
Need your internet? We've got it. Lightning fast connections and WiFi available throughout the house. Also, standard in 3 rooms, including 1 50" plasma screen, 1 32" LCD and 1 27" LCD.
Of course, there's a dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, and a fully-stocked kitchen with service for 12. Everything from a blender to beaters is included.
The linens are also newer, with high-thread count sheets and comfortable bedding.
A couple of bikes, pool toys, wagon for hauling stuff to the beach, board games, and other pleasant surprises await!

Why Dean Rock chose Pinellas County
Indian Rocks Beach is where we chose to live, because it is near the beach, is a quiet community with first-rate services (trash pickup two days a week, high speed internet, city water/sewage) ... It's proximity to major attractions and airports is also a wonderful asset. At the end of the day, though, we want a place where we can relax, enjoy our privacy, and go for walks along the beach, through the Nature Preserve, etc ...
What makes this House unique
Every day we go to the beach, without exception. Who can be stressed with sand between their toes? We are very fortunate to have found a spacious home so close to the water, yet far enough where you NEVER hear any of the traffic on Gulf Blvd. It truly is the ideal location/home -- for us anyway.

AWESOME! House is spacious and location ideal.
My family of four and sister's family of 5 both wanted to vacation along Florida's Gulf coast. We shopped around and couldn't find a better value that would sleep the 9 of us. The house is very comfortable and well-stocked with everything you need. We used the wagon for our daily walks to the beach, which took us only a few minutes. Indian Rocks Beach has so much to do with parks, playgrounds and restaurants all within walking distance!
This is a very comfortable home with great floorplan. Pool is awesome and everything was as promised or better. So close to the beach. Indian Rocks has a lot going for it! Great food, fun parks and playgrounds, and just lots to do within walking distance.
We just wish we could have stayed longer!
Everything we could ask for
We were delighted with our choice of property. We arrived with 4 adults and 2 children (age 5 and 2) and the accommodation and location were both ideal. The house is clean, fully equipped and comfortable. It soon made us feel as if we were in our own and the kids were delighted by the pool, the park nearby and the easy walk to the beach. It was an easy drive to spring training sites and to a wide selection of restaurant, grocery stores etc. Dean was more than accommodating, responsive to our every question and need.
We definitely plan to return next year. It is a perfect place for a family vacation.
Thanks for the kind words. We used to think Indian Rocks Beach was the best kept secret on the Gulf. It's not so secret anymore! We love living here for the same reasons you stated. A wonderful place to rear a family or go on vacation. See ya' next year!
Thank you for sharing your home.
I was nervous being with just me, my brother and our mother being that we had the 5 kids. We actually wore them out! The pool was perfect for them. We walked the boardwalk numerous times the week we were there and each time we discovered something new along the way. The walk to the beach was very short and easy. Thank you very much for having a wagon, chairs and some beach toys available. We did go to Clearwater and took The Tropical Boat Tour. The kids (and adults) got to see the dolphins right beside the boat. We got to see three jump at once. Thank you again! It made for some awesome vacation memories!
Guests are always amazed at how close to the beach the hose actually is, and how much there is to do in Indian Rocks Beach, without even having to get in your car! The boardwalk/Nature Preserve area also provides many wildlife surprises. Glad you enjoyed your stay and all the house/area offers.

We had a great time, the house was great with lots of room which worked out perfect,we had more family & friends come & stay at different times than we planed on every one had a bed & we were never crowded. It was perfect with our dog with a barkyard around the corner.it was everything Dean said it was from the property, how close everything was,the amenities &very clean.Dean was only a phone call away if you had any problems or needed information.
Quiet neighborhood yet so close to everything!
My family, including my elderly parents, stayed here to visit our newest family member - a very sweet two year old. The house was perfect. The downstairs bedroom with the en suite bathroom was great for my mobility impaired Dad, while the huge upstairs was perfect for the couple with a small child - plenty of room and quiet for nap time(even when the lawn maintenance company was there!). The pool is lovely. Due to the heat we never turned on the hot tub, but the jets were nice and provide a beautiful waterfall into the swimming pool.
We never heard or saw neighbors but the neighborhood is great for an early morning or evening stroll. There is also a lovely nature trail that leads from the park down the street along a boardwalk - great for bird watching.
If you have never been to the Indian Rocks Beach area before, you will love both the beaches and the great restaurants. We made breakfast and lunch at the house and had wonderful meals out within a mile or two.
All in all, we had a very nice stay in this house - every thing was clean, in good working order and with plenty of privacy and space for our family. We highly recommend it!
Exit our home and 4 minutes walking to the west (900 feet) is the white sand and the Gulf of Mexico. Walk to the right (east) and you have a pristine children's playground with all new heavy-duty plastic equipment. This playground also serves as the rear entrance to the Nature Preserve, which if you walk the trails, will lead you to a spacious dog park on the other side! Walk straight out of the house toward Kolb Park and you have all sorts of activities for kids (or adults) of any age, including a baseball field, lit basketball/tennis courts, skate park, etc ... This park is about an 8-minute walk, but my son and I rollerblade there in about half that time. Simply put, this is the ideal spot to vacation, if you're looking to have plenty of space, your own pool and spa, privacy, and proximity to all the family activities people enjoy while on vacation.
