This is a beautiful, warm and comfortable house, with dozens of windows welcoming loads of natural sunlight and views of greenery. Classically furnished, with lots of private space. The house has many fine architectural details and lots of charm.

We fell in love with the house for its remarkable European personality, excellent design and layout; so many roomy bedrooms and family spaces that allow lots of privacy, 3 fireplaces. We also chose it for the property -- the beautiful gardens and trees; landscaped since the 1920's and renewed today, the portico for arriving guests, and the expansive hardwood porch where we spend lots of time. We've owned and restored it for more than 20 years.

Private guest house above garage adjacent to pool, beautiful garden views, with central air and full bath, plus fireplace, stereo system, etc. Can sleep two. In the main house there is a top quality grand piano, a service staircase from kitchen in addition to front staircase, children's playroom, wine cellar in basement, 4 working fireplaces. No bedrooms share a wall so there is a lot of privacy.
