Sunsets at Pier 60
Every evening the place to be is Pier 60 in the heart of Clearwater Beach. For two hours before sunset and two hours after, artisans, street performers, musicians and more take over the activity center of Clearwater Beach.
Beach Walk is a winding beachside promenade with lush landscaping, artistic touches and clear views to Clearwater's award-winning beach and the water beyond, a place where bicyclists, rollerbladers and pedestrians all have safe and convenient access and where visitors and locals can socialize, dine, play games, or simply enjoy the spectacular sun and surf.
Unspoiled and protected, our beautiful and natural parks are refuges for birds, mammals and humans alike. Brooker Creek Preserve's 8,500 acres are home to more than 160 bird species, 20 amphibians, 50 reptiles and 40 mammals, many of them rare or listed as protected in Florida and/or the nation. Weedon Island Preserve's 1,500 island acres offers 9 miles of hiking trails, 4 miles of canoe and kayak trails, a fishing pier, observation platforms and an elevated boardwalk providing an intimate view of the flora and fauna of Florida.
The Gulf of Mexico and our rivers offer watchable wildlife. Approximately 2,600 manatees inhabit our springs, bays and canals, feeding on aquatic plants. Everyone's favorite, the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin, can be seen cavorting with beauty and grace. Alligators can be found in some freshwater areas of the county. And over 300 species of fish swim in our waters

Perfect for being near the beaches without the resort glitz
We stayed as a hockey family in town for a tournament and were very happy with the place. Many who stayed at the team hotel were very disappointed in their choice as they contended with night club atmosphere. The home had the basics for what we needed and was on a quiet street. Would recommend for couple or low key families.
This was our second time renting this lovely home. The homeowners are completely accommodating, the house is beautiful and cozy and it’s perfectly located for our needs. The home comes stocked with essentials and the owners leave you with all of the information you could possibly need, in addition to being available by phone or email. Highly recommend.
This house was perfect for us. The owners have made the right upgrades but kept the wonderful cubby holes and architecture that made older homes so great. The location is central but the neighborhood is very quiet. We will definitely look up Dew Drop Inn for our next stay in Clearwater.
Jumping off point to Clearwater
Overall this place is very well-located if you want to explore the beaches of Clearwater and the surrounding area in a safe welcoming neighborhood. The kitchen is well-stocked, the place came across as neat and clean, and the owners were easy to communicate with. We enjoyed lounging on the front porch and the kids enjoyed hunting lizards in the backyard. There were beach towels and a small cooler available (plus a washer and dryer), which was key as we spent most of our time on the beach. There were a few minor signs of wear but overall this place served our needs well to explore the Gulf coast, and I would recommend it to anyone who requires a centralized location.
Quiet neighborhood and lovely backyard
We just spent a few days at the Dew Drop Inn and enjoyed the home very much. The house exuded the charm of a historic home with all the modern conveniences that we like. It was tastefully decorated and felt much spacier than in the photos. The backyard was beautifully landscaped and was an oasis of calm and peace that we very much appreciated after a hectic time in Orlando. Bruce was helpful and kind and very responsive to our questions. We loved the Dew Drop Inn and are highly recommending it.
This property is very welcoming and the four of us felt right at home. We rented the house due to it's proximity to Spectrum park (10min drive) and Clearwater Beach. As it turned out, the weather was not as warm as we'd hoped, but the heater worked great in the house. We found it clean and well appointed with antiques, some eclectic pieces, books and games. The dining room became our 1000 piece puzzle room and the kitchen was actually well stocked with essential dishes and cookware. Our beds were very comfortable and found out too late that one bed was actually a Sleep number bed...we thought it was just too hard. The setting was on 100 which is extreamely firm! There are a few maintence issues that the owner is well aware of and is in the process of remedying them. The owners Bruce and Melody live in the same neighborhood and we enjoyed getting to know them over cocktails. We are looking forward to our next visit!
