Clean, comfortable private corner unit with a fully remodeled kitchen and bath. New for the 2016-17 season. High efficiency split unit A/C is extremely quiet and provides a quick cool down when needed. About the best balcony in the complex with enough activity for entertainment and quiet for your enjoyment. Famous Sapphire Beach is a 1500 foot stroll while the larger of two fresh water pools and the restaurant are within 150 feet of your door. Family owned and operated for forty years. Wired phone, cable, and private WiFi included as well as beach chairs, snorkel gear, and outing Playmate cooler.

About Tom

My husband and I purchased this condo in the pre-construction phase in 1970. We used it as our getaway and I still use it yearly. My son Tom manages it for me and he also manages a 1-bedroom unit about 60 feet away that he co-owns with two more of my children.

Why Tom chose USVI/St. Thomas

My late brother settled in St. Thomas in 1958 after "discovering" the island while serving in the US Navy Submarine force a few years prior. Along with other island careers he became a successful real estate agent and convinced my late husband and I that this property and especially the corner location on the water was 2nd to none.

Wonderful Place!

My husband and I spent 8 nights/7 days at this beautiful studio condo last week. It is in a great location, the views are gorgeous, and it is very easy to get to Red Hook and take the ferry to St. John. (If you're interested.) It is a short and easy walk to beautiful Sapphire Beach. There is snorkeling equipment and beach gear at the condo.

The condo was perfect for the two of us. It was convenient to cook small meals in the kitchen. The balcony was great. We spent time looking out over the marina and ocean. Saw people parasailing, cruise ships traveling past to get to port, and watched the charters come and go with vacationers heading out to other islands or fishing. There is a restaurant/bar directly across from this condo in the next building up, and we had great meals there. Service was very good and prices reasonable. The locals were friendly and helpful with any questions we had about the area.

Tom was fantastic to work with! He was prompt with answering any questions we had, he provided maps of the island, and details on getting to the condo from the airport. Very helpful! He would respond to my emails within a couple hours, if not sooner.

We definitely recommend this location to anyone interested in spending time in beautiful St. Thomas.

Perfect Hideaway at the Beach

We loved Tom's condo at Sapphire Village in St. Thomas! The condo was exactly as described in the listing and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was handy, as food can be expensive in St. Thomas, and having the option to get groceries and cook some of our own meals was ideal for a traveler on a budget. The condo came with everything we needed for the beach; chairs, a cooler, snorkel gear, etc...We basically arrived at the condo from the airport, put on our swim suits and were on the beach within the hour. The studio was plenty of room for the two of us, and the balcony views over the Marina were perfect for morning breakfasts and evening sunsets. Overall, we loved the condo, and loved working with Tom. He was super knowledgable and provided us with all the details we needed to make sure our trip was a smooth success. Would definitely stay here again.

Majestic Experience!

From location to accommodations to service, this place was spectacular! The owner was remarkably professional, informative and personable. The unit was incredibly clean and comfortable. The location and view was breathtaking. We truly felt blessed to vacation in St. Thomas!

Amazing views!

My friend and I rented this condo from Tom while we were in the Virgin Islands for an entire month for a pharmacy school rotation. This was a great place to stay! Although it is a studio condo, my friend and I had plenty of room for all of our belongings for the month, there was plenty of room in the kitchen to store food, and the bathroom was plenty big for the 2 of us and all of our stuff! We didn't mind sharing a bed for the month and that mattress is probably one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on! The view is absolutely AMAZING, the beach on the property is just a short walk and the pool is right outside of the front door of the condo, along with the restaurant - which was super yummy. One of the best parts about this condo is that it is in a gated community and a guard was always at the gate so we always felt very safe here. Overall, this is an excellent little place to stay! It is so convenient to the Red Hook area. We did not have a car and walked up to the front of the complex everyday to catch a safari or called a taxi to get to Red Hook. There is a fairly steep hill that you have to take to get up to the front - so keep that in mind when considering if you would like to rent a car or not. Honestly, the hill probably isn't that bad, I'm just out of shape! Tom was so great in preparation for our trip - he gave us so many tips and great advice and while we were there, he was just a phone call or email away! I would definitely recommend staying here! I will for sure be back!

It was a great place to stay! Had everything we needed. Really enjoyed walking down to the beach in the morning and snorkeling on sapphire beach.

St.thomas is beautiful, can't wait to come back again. My bestie got married at sapphire and it was perfect location.

The unit was as shown in pictures. Loved the keypad so we did not have to remember our keys. The tempurpedic bed was awesome.

Wonderful Vacation Spot!

This place has everything you need! Tom is so helpful leading up to the stay and also sent us some wonderful tips during our stay! The view is amazing, the pool is right across from the unit, and all the best restaurants are super close! We had a great experience during our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Just 1 mile east is Red Hook where you can board the hourly ferry for the 20 minute ride to Cruz Bay, St John. Red Hook has numerous shops, bars, restaurants, a small market and dozens of marine and tourist related vendors.

Tutu, a major commercial area, is about 5 miles to the west of Sapphire. Here you can find K-Mart, Home Depot, Price Smart, Cost-U-Less and major grocery markets.

Charlotte Amalie which most refer to to simply as 'Town' is about 8 miles to the west of Sapphire. This famous shopping district sells most anything from t-shirts to solid gold Rolex watches. Key-chains to exotic perfume. Shopping is not the only reason to go. The streets and alleyways hold hundreds of years of architectural beauty and history.
