4 BR, 2.5 Ba plus loft on-mountain home. Sleeps 12 easily. Newly remodeled living and family room and new heating system. New construction 2002. Large family room in walkout basement, living room on ground floor - wood stove in each. Looks at Sugarloaf - southern exposure means lots of light. Flat screens in both family and living rooms, TV's in 3 of 4 bedrooms. Master BR has King, two upstairs BRs have queens with Jack and Jill bath in between. Jacuzzi and shower in master bath. WiFi throughout. Very quiet neighborhood on shuttle route, or drive yourself - 3 min. tops to mountain parking lots. Will rent by day(s) or week.
Unique space with plenty of room for a large group. Our group of 12 was able to spread out and do different things, but still felt like we were all together. Great homeowners who were easy to communicate with and wanted to make sure we had the best time during our stay. The homeowners alone are a reason to rent this property.
Plenty of space for our family, a comfortable living room, and a very workable kitchen. It was a little dirty when we arrived but not unmanageably so. The Sugarloaf bus comes right to the property, which is very convenient. If you like a firm bed, this is the place for you. If not, you might want to bring a comfortable pad. The property owner was very thoughtful and eager to be helpful. Five stars to the owner!
Renting from John was an absolute pleasure. Communication was great and he was very accommodating (had a fire lit for our late arrival, had a crate in the house for our dog saving a lot of space packing in the car, to name a few). The house itself was amazing. The layout of space worked well with our group with lots of bedrooms and different levels so if people wanted to go to bed early they could without being disturbed by those who were night owls. Being on the shuttle route was also key. We never waited more than 10 minutes for bus and could enjoy apres or the nightlight without worrying about having a DD. I will definitely be interested in renting this place again next year if its available.
The home is cozy with good group spaces as well as space to spread out a little. The description is accurate. The property was clean and well maintained and was freshly decorated for Christmas. The kitchen is very functional. The owner was particularly accommodating and provided excellent customer service. The property is in a quiet location on the shuttle route to the mountain and accessible by a short car ride to nordic skiing. We had a wonderful time. Unfortunately there was a water leak in the basement while we were there. Everything turned out fine and these things certainly can't always be avoided but it made the basement bedroom less accessible and comfortable. We would stay there again however!
We made this reso last minute and it was perfect. Tons of room, chill owner and all was very easy. It was bigger than we needed for 5 people, but worked out when extra parents and coaches came in for a night or two. Would be plenty comfy for 8-10. Close to the mtn too. Big sitting areas on two floors which would be great for a bigger group.
Truly a tremendous value for such a large home along the shuttle route. Space enough for at least four families (including 2 babies), the home is perfect for a weekend ski trip.
