About Elizabeth & Malcolm Yeomans
Elizabeth & Malcolm Yeomans welcome you to their wonderful 250 year old Perigordian Home
Elizabeth & Malcolm Yeomans purchased this Bed And Breakfast in 2007
Why Elizabeth & Malcolm Yeomans chose Saint-Félix-de-Reillac-et-Mortemart
We searched for 3 years to find the right property here in the Dordogne. As soon as we came up the drive we just knew this was the one despite the amount of work needed to make it the house of our dreams.
What makes this Bed And Breakfast unique
It is right in the heart of everything the Dordogne and everything we want to see or do but set in its own gardens and grounds it is tranquil and you could be miles away from the rest of the world. We love our wildlife and apart from all the birds we regularly see red squirrels in the trees and red and roe deer grazing the lawn. The wild boar visit occasionally and we also have pine martens which if we are lucky we get a glimpse of in the early mornings or the evenings. With the ponds we have put in there is so much to see and do from the tadpoles in the Spring to the colorful dragonflies. We just love it!

Nice property ,enjoyable stay
We had a lovely time
Lovely property. Lovely host.
Lovely property and bedroom. A short drive away from the local town. Sat nav had difficulty in finding the property, host drove out to meet us. Very helpful with advise on what to do and where to eat. Unfortunately the swimming pool wasn’t ready for use - disappointment as this was a factor on our booking. Nice breakfast with fresh pastries. The offer of unlimited beer and wine is interesting as you are required to request. Personally I would like to see a fridge with drinks for guest to help themselves
Overall a lovely property but a bit expensive for what you get.
So glad you enjoyed your time here
We always offer guests directions as Sat nav do not work well around here, we did ask for your travel plans so that we could send you appropriate directions but received no reply, hence why you were our first guests to be "rescued" from St Felix village.
As for your comment regarding the swimming pool we really do not understand it as it has been open since the start of April and guests before you and since your stay have enjoyed swimming. Obviously when it rains we keep the shutter closed, as we do at night, to keep in the heat. but always open the shutter if anyone wishes to swim in the rain. You were out a lot, especially as your puppy was unwell the first day, so perhaps you did not realise that it is only open from 9.00 - 21.00
Unfortunately as we are a B&B not a hotel our insurance does not allow us to provide room fridges, but we always ensure we ask numerous times if guests would like a drink, as we did with yourselves when you were here.
You do pay a premium by booking via HomeAway rather than directly but this ensures you stay is covered by their insurance, and many people prefer to do this.
Comparing our price with others locally, most of whom do not provide breakfast included in the price, and certainly not all your drinks during your stay I think you we will find we are priced very competitively.
We always do out very best to ensure our guests have a great time here as holidays are so important
1 Night stopover in Dordogne
As we were travelling through France we had a 1 night stopover here just my wife and I and our 2 dogs. We had a wonderful welcome and both Malcolm and Elizabeth were wonderful hosts.
A beautiful property that has been very well restored and set in some lovely countryside. A good spot not far from Bergerac with a good swimming pool and a warm welcome. Had a very relaxing and excellent nights sleep!
It was lovely meeting you both and your lovely well behaved dogs.
We are so glad you had a good time in this wonderful region of France
We hope that the rest of your holidays went well
Les Bressettes is set in nearly 4 acres of gardens and grounds in the heart of the Dordogne within easy reach of the wonderful caves, chateaux and vineyards and everything the area has to offer
We can recommend all the best places to visit depending on your particular interests
There is a good golf course just 1 mile away and lots of canoeing on both the Verzere and Dordogne rivers
This is a wonderful part of France and has so much to see and do
