Guestbook comments from the owner

"Upon opening the door, we knew we had made the right choice for a mountain getaway cabin rental. It was spotless, very well decorated, all of the furniture was top-of-the-line and comfortable. Nothing was overlooked, including the high-thread count sheets and thick, soft towels. The view was amazing; the paved road leading up the ridge was excellent. The only thing missing was more time to enjoy it! The owner was also very thorough in providing all information needed. We can't say enough about this cabin!"

Great time

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at the Mountain House. That is how my daughters called the house. We got there Friday evening, and went to Hiawassee downtown to get dinner at Daniel's. Saturday we went hiking all day. We went to High Shoals Falls, and then to Anna Ruby Falls. It was a beautiful day. Sunday was a bit to smoky because of the fires around the mountain. The wind was not helping at all. The house was super clean. Really nice, and had everything you need it. Liz was awesome responding so quickly to our request for renting the house. We loved everything about it. Thank you so much.

Awesome views

  • 5 of 5

Highly recommend this cabin. Owner was extremely helpful, cabin perfect for two couples, and views from porch and fire pit area were fantastic. We enjoyed the fall colors and temperature as well as location for traveling to surrounding towns. Visiting the local vineyards topped our things to do list, followed by Brasstown Bald, Dillard, Helen, Vogel State Park.
