About The Owner

We have been visiting Cape May for over 20years and four years ago we finally found our dream home. We always felt we would make our 'Cottage' comfortable and beautiful for our guests. Being a renter for 20 years I feel you should be as comfortable at my home as your would at your home.

The Owner purchased this townhome in 2008

Why The Owner chose Cape May

When we saw the home we thought it was the best of everything. Two quick blocks to the beach, a quick walk to the mall area. Our first night we slept with the windows were open and I was amazed that we could hear the Ocean!!!! We can walk everywhere. And when the horse and carriages came by twice a day it was perfect. We scrub, painted, decorated. I try to make this home as perfect as it can be.

What makes this townhome unique

Comfortable, clean quilts, I purchase pillows yearly, we are always doing improvemets to make our home charming and comfortable. I enjoy having nice dishes and glassware for my guests, new quilts, Three levels of living gives mom and dad some privacy. My kids love the Garrett, it is a great place to play a video game or just hang out.

We scrub, painted, decorated. I try to make this home as perfect as it can be.

Fantastic location and owner very helpful

  • 5 of 5

We had a very enjoyable stay. The location of the house was ideal for both the beach and town. The house was well equipped.

The owner was very helpful and available for any questions and suggestions.

Thanks very much for making our stay a pleasurable experience.

Charming home in perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 + some friends enjoyed a lovely stay at this home. The location is ideal - only 2 blocks from the beach and walking distance to all of our favorite places in Cape May. The home is very welcoming and comfortable. I believe it was build in 1890? and has all the charm of the Victorians from that era located right in the historic district. At night the horse and carriages clip clop by on their way to their starting point for tours. The back deck is perfect for grilling dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed. The front porch is a great place to unwind - complete with rocking chairs. Our kids are all in their 20's and they fell in love with the place too. The owner is wonderful to deal with - you will not be disappointed if you rent this lovely home!

Modern comfort with Victorian charm

  • 5 of 5

This was our 5th year staying at this wonderful home--the location is ideal for walking to the beach and to the mall, and the off-street parking is convenient (and a must in Cape May.) The home is even better than described: a well equipped kitchen with a table; a nice, comfy living room; lots of places to sleep. The front porch is a wonderful place to sit and have your morning coffee, watch the horses and carriages come into town, or have a drink at the end of the day and watch the sunset. The porch off the kitchen has a nice, large, gas grill and a number of places to sit and enjoy the breeze. (We love to go to The Lobster House seafood market and come back and cook it on the grill.) There are plenty of activities within walking distance: the beach, several mini-golf places, and the Washington Street mall for shopping, eating, people watching and our favorite, ice-cream. The CM zoo, CM winery and CM brewery are just a short drive away. The property is very well-maintained and the owners are wonderful to deal with. We definitely would recommend this home to our friends and family and will be returning in years to come.

Great house & location!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a great vacation in Cape May and this house was perfect. The house was fully stocked, including the kitchen with anything you could need and then some.We enjoyed watching the horse drawn carriages on the way to town each night from the rocking chairs on the front porch. It's a short walk to the beach and town, so we parked the car for the week and walked everywhere. We have stayed at other homes in Cape May, but this house was a step above the rest. We are starting to plan our trip for next year and expect to stay here!
