Comfortable and clean condo

We were in NY for a week with our 2 kids. The condo was clean and comfortable and provided plenty of space. It's near the subway, which was a big plus. When you check in, make sure the housekeeper shows you Jennifer's folder of info (we found it 2 days into our stay). It provides important information about the condo and tips on visiting NY. Minor negatives--some of the promised items weren't provided (soap, for example) so be sure to check before the housekeeper leaves you on your own. Kitchenware is limited.

Great place to relax after exploring all day!

We took our adult children to visit NYC and we will keep this apartment on our list of places to stay! It is very close to the subway, Central Park and wonderful restaurants. There are grocery stores and liquor stores nearby as well. The beds are very comfortable and the updated amenities are a plus! We highly recommend this apartment!

Great for five of us

This was like staying in a friend's VERY large apartment. Beds were comfortable and we had tons of room. Near a brand new subway drop, grocery stores and lots of little restaurants. A few minor negatives - not of lot of kitchenware or towels/washcloths but we did have a washer & dryer. Not fancy but very comfortable - will stay here again!

Although this was our first Homeaway experience in NYC, we thought it was very nice.

Plenty of space for a family of five. The condo was clean and had lots of amenities including a washer/dryer. It was very close to Q-96th street subway. Plenty of places to grab eats/drinks. Although we felt safe, there were two nights where the door buzzer rang once around 1:30 am. We ignored it because we were not expecting anyone. The next morning after the second time it happened, we noticed the outer door lock was stuck inside door and the management box, inside the first door, was pried opened. This was concerning but nothing more. We would stay again if we returned in the future.

Owner's Response: Hello thank you for your positive review, I really enjoyed having you and your family. You were gracious guests and kept the apt in great shape. It is a good thing you did not buzz stranger into the building (unfortunately, it is a common tactic amongst petty thieves, they would randomly buzz apartments and hoping someone would buzz them in and then they carry off UPS/FEDEX packages left in the lobby). I also want to clarify the management box in the lobby was pried open by the building super himself. The building management company leaves the super's paycheck in the box and i guess he forgot his key one time so he pried it open to get his paycheck. I will remind the building management company to replace that box or repair it somehow.

one world : fantastic

We stayed nearly a week with our 3 kids.

The penthouse is perfect : bright, spacious, very well furnished.

Location is great too. A few blocks from Line 6 which tales you midtown in 15 minutes. Walk 10 minutes and you hit central park and The reservoir.

Everything is nearby : restaurants, supermarkets, breas and wine.

Seriously to us simply The best deal in NYC .

Great apartment from which to explore NYC

The apartment was clean, and well laid out. The two terraces both offered views of the river and a place to get away and unwind at night. The apartment was easily accessible to the the subway, central park, and a variety of food/shopping in the neighborhood. The best part was that this was one of the quietest apartments/hotels I have ever stayed in. No building noise and almost no city noise. We felt very comfortable and as a family of 6 (2 adults, 2 pre-teens, 2 seniors) we were able to spread out in the apartment. The food choices in the neighborhood were excellent and the owner & manager were both very helpful with clear instructions and good recommendations for getting around and things to find, eat, visit in the neighborhood. We would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and we would definitely stay here again.
