About Susan Chapman
We are crazy about Cape Cod because it is so beautiful; and who does not LOVE the ocean? You will find some of the most beautiful beaches in the world in our area. Typically the weather is fantastic spring, summer, and fall with something for everyone four seasons of the year. Biking, kayaking, swimming, sailing, surfing, fishing, hiking and whale watching are common activities. But we even love to cross country ski on the sand dunes in winter! From the time our fourth child was 2 years old, we brought the family to Cape Cod every summer. Now they are bringing our grandchildren! We live year round in Wellfleet, the next town north of Eastham. We are available to assist our guests if there is any need or if you forget to bring something; we are happy to share what we have. We want you to have a PERFECT Cape Cod vacation.
Susan Chapman purchased this House in 1998
Why Susan Chapman chose North Eastham
Wes and Susan Chapman own and manage our own 4 vacation properties on the Outer Cape. The Beach Rose was our first and is a favorite with so many families. Because the beach is a short walk away, the baby can nap at home while the older children swim and play. You will love the restaurants, music venues, and the friendly folks of Eastham.
What makes this House unique
The Beach Rose House is equidistant to Hyannis and Provincetown, making this a great location to see all that Cape Cod offers.

the property was great, a perfect vacation spot for the five "ladies"and my little service dog. Maybe it will be an annual trip! Thanks and if you are out of state the linens are a plus
We stayed for a week in September. The house was even better than expected. Bright, airy, and comfortable. Very clean. Location is close to a tricky intersection which was the only drawback with kids as you have to cross it to get to the beach. The visibility for crossing is ok, the traffic just does not have a stop sign and some of the cars on the crossing road go above the limit. Quick drive to many other excellent beaches which we enjoyed.
Amazing location! #bestfamilyvacation
This house has so much to offer! You could not find a better vacation rental for the value in Eastham. We have four kids and a pup and the home is ample space for our crew. We walked to the bay nightly, and the playground and pond around the corner nearly every afternoon. The bike trail runs off of the street that the home is located on, and one of our favorite restaurants (Arnold's) is just at the end of the street! The owners thought of everything here. It was extremely clean and well equipped - kuerig included! The laundry, AC, TV, and wifi all worked great! The yard was expansive; great for kids and pups. We would highly recommend anyone to stay. You will not be disappointed!
Eastham is the Gateway to the Cape Cod National Seashore. This is a large National Park with hiking trails, tidal saltwater inlets, freshwater kettle ponds, and ocean and bay beaches. Approximately 1/2 of the Outer Cape Cod area is Cape Cod National Seashore property. This unique area was set aside by John F Kennedy for the purpose of preserving all the natural features of the area. This is truly the 'Old Cape Cod.'
The Beach Rose house is a short walk to Kingsbury Beach on Cape Cod Bay for all saltwater amenities. And the sunsets are amazing! Just around the corner you will find Great Pond at Wiley Park, an awesome freshwater kettle pond for kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. Your kids will love the playground at Wiley Park. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is down the street 1/2 mile; the "Rail Trail" has 26 miles of off road biking between Wellfleet and Dennis. On the town line just north of the house you will find one of the very few 'authentic' drive in theaters at the Wellfleet Cinemas. During the day, the drive-in hosts the areas largest flea market with some great crafts people and area artists.
