Unfortunately the place had not been cleaned when we got there and we had to leave and wait for someone to come in. The TV and microwave didn't work and the overall accomodations were sub par.
Ubicacion Excente !!!
Ubicación excelente, acceso a la playa, la gente de la recepción muy amable. Departamento muy bien equipado. La propiedad estaba en excelente condiciones, muy limpia. Recomendamos esta propiedad para dos personas. Rudy, gracias por todo
Not as advertised
This is the first time I have ever rented a unit on VRBO and I was quite hesitant since I am new to this. I guess that I had reason to be. Although Rudy was very helpful and always easy to contact, I booked this room believing the picture and title of the advertisement on VRBO. BUYER BEWARE... If you are looking for an oceanfront room, stay elsewhere. This room is city view. The room is clean and fully equipped. The beach is gorgeous and the pool is perfect in every way. I was just very disappointed as I feel I was lied to and paid for this room thinking it was oceanfront as it says. I travelled with two other families, both of which actually got oceanfront rooms. This was truly disappointing.
Sorry to hear that, but first of all I have NEVER lied to any of my guests that have stayed in one of my Units, as advertise on the web site the unit is right
on the Ocean and it has a city and partial Ocean view.
Good location. The apartament is renovated. The building needs some work to do.
I rented the studio apt. with my two children. I made the mistake of not asking what the rules and regulations were at the condo/hotel. We arrived to find that we could only use valet service which was a huge inconvenience since there was always a line of people waiting to get their cars. We later found out that there are a LOT of rules around the pool area. For example, no coolers were permitted yet you were allowed to bring beverages to the pool. I guess this was a way to persuade the customers to use their bar area which was over priced. I also had a problem with finding everywhere that I looked, there were women/girls in thongs. I am not a prude by no means but this place was suppose to be kid friendly. Also they were not picky about what the people wore at the pool, yet you were NOT allowed in the lobby without a cover up. We had a bad experience with the security guard where he felt the need to kick the ball that my kids were playing with, outside of the condo property because it fell by him. I told the security manager who did nothing about it. There were plenty other kids that were playing with other balls in the pool and also had inflatables which were not allowed, but nothing was said to them.
As far as the condo was concerned, it was not well kept. Yes, it had modern Ikea cabinets however the first night we were there, the cabinet door fell off and onto my toe. The refridgerator only kept everything chilled, not frozen. I tried to get ice cubes however it took the whole week to finally freeze over. I ended up having to throw away food that I was keeping in the fridge. The kitchen sink didn't even have a stopper to do the dishes or detergent to wash them with. I had to manually do each piece myself with my detergent that I bought.
The bathroom handle fell off as soon as we used it and the water was barely warm all week. I texted the owner who was suppose to get someone out the next day. We waited on them for over a half hour and finally left. It took two days to get the cabinet door put back on and the shower handle fixed but the fridge issue and the water temperature issue was never addressed. The ceiling had water stains on it and the top of the walls, the paint was peeling. There was no chain lock which also had me concerned. I learned my lesson from this. I will never rent another condo without personally meeting the owner.
The lobby of the building and the hallways could use some updating. The unit inside is very pretty and noise was at a minimum. There is a view of the water and the beach is literally right there. Recommend to the association to offer renting beach chairs and umbrellas to guests as a way to make some money for the association. Other condos did this on either side and it would have been money well spent to not have to drag the chairs and umbrella out. Speaking of, suggestions to the condo owner, since renting the chairs was not an option, newer and nicer beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas would be good. Also, a real broom and dustpan would be great for sweeping sand and debris from the floor. That tiny broom hardly did the job. Painting the ceiling to remove the water spots and cleaning the windows should also be done as these things would add a lot to the appeal of the condo. Finally, the freezer does not work. Even on the coldest temp, water would not freeze in the ice trays. The design is really nice, and modern. The kitchen is well stocked if you plan to cook. The bed is very comfortable. Valet parking was easy and quick. I would stay here again.
