The place was great and the owner was very easy to get a hold of and work with. There were a couple of appliances, such as a toaster, that we wished we would have had, but overall the place was very nice and taken care of.
We are unhappy we our reservation so far. We got here on january 5th. There are still a lot of things that are not working.
1- We were supposed to have a phone in the house, we have one, but it's not working and we told them at the beginning. More than a week ago they told us they got the piece to fix the problem, which is supposed to be a resort problem, but it is still not solved.
2- The dishwasher does not work. Luis came while we were gone to change a piece, but it is still not working.
3- The card to enter the resort, does not work to open one of the gate.
4- We have no clue if we have visitors since the only way to get in touch with the front desk is the phone.
5- One of the bedroom has no lights.
6- The stairs lights no longer work... still waiting for someone to come fix it after 5 days.
7- We have to show up at the front desk when there is a problem, most of the time they tell us they can't help us we have to talk to the owner.
8-We still haven't received our money back (we had extra charges)
9- We had cleaning fees, but it was durty when we got there, hair from the people before on the floor, sticky stairs rail, receit from november under a bed.
10- Some desk are broken.
11- We did not have a toaster.
12- Not enough dishes, it was mentionned it was for 10 people, we only had 3 forks...
13- The starting kit was incomplete, no dishwasher soap, laundry soap...
14- We warned them we won't be there on jan 4th, they said it was not a problem, they ended up charging us, we are still waiting for the money.
15- My daughter waisted her vacation trying to fix the problems instead of enjoying her time with us, she is still trying to help us even if she is back home.
16- The manager called her even if everything was supposed to be taken care of my Luis, he seemed mad and she had to pay extra fees on her cellphone since their phones are not working!!!
17- Almost all the blinds are broken.
18- We were supposed to get another house, but on the fourth my daugther got a text giving the new one and it was a system mistake.
19- Even the lockbox code did not work, the guy had to make a phone call and had us try different codes
20- The microwave is broken
21- There is a closet door that is not on, it is just laying in the closet, even the rail is missing.
Some things are small problems, but everything added together it's too much!
To some up, we are sick of everything here and we can't enjoy or vacations!
Worst holiday experience ever, dirty and rundown property without proper supplies, terrible mgmt co.
The list is endless....arrived at property and the key lockbox code does not work. Had to call mgmt. co. and wait an hour to bring key while frozen food is sitting in the car. House is dirty and rundown, beige carpets are black with dirt and probably never cleaned. Strong smoke smell although it was a non smoking facility. Couches are torn and dirty, main floor TV doesn't have cable and heavy with dust, cobwebs in the corners and chandeliers, house sleeps 10 and there were 3 forks, 3 bowls, 3 wine glasses, had to eat dinner first night with spoons before buying cutlery. Washing machine and dryer are literally on last legs, loud and expecting them to stop working after every use. All the beds are terrible and robbed us of sleep and caused back pain, mattresses have thin layer of fabric and springs dig into your back. Upstairs main shower does not drain leaving you standing in water which is disgusting. Found 3 roaches in the place....just the worst vacation experience I have ever experienced. Regal Palms community pool, lazy river, games room, volleyball court and bar were Great and saved us from loosing our minds. Let nothing detract from the resort property, it is the home and the lack of investment of the home owner and property management company which made it a very poor experience. I contacted the management company numerous times with the issues we experienced and they did NOTHING about it and ignored my requests for compensation for the terrible condition of the home. Beware of renting this home and avoid renting with the management company as you WILL be disappointed.
Worst experience ever.....
Very nice & clean condo
The condo was great. It was a 4 bedroom & there was plenty of room for 5 people. It was well worth the price, which was reasonable. The only complaint I have is the dining room chairs & the carpet had bad stains.
