About Alfredo Brofferio
After working 35 years with IBM and having wandered around Italy and Europe with my family (8 moves) I decided to retire and to live in Gubbio where my mother’s family had been since 1200. Umbria and Gubbio have always been a point of reference in my life as an emigrant. So as soon as I could I returned here permanently. Before I retired I had already begun to work on a farm house, so as to convert it in an Agriturismo. This project was supposed to help me to overcome the classic syndrome of the pensioned person. Now this activity absorbs a good deal of my time and energy, though for me it is mainly a hobby and not a duty, and therefore it is my pleasure to treat my guests as visitors who wish to understand and discover my land, rather than as tourists running around just limiting themselves to enjoy superficially the beauties of Umbria.
Alfredo Brofferio purchased this Apartment in 1995
Why Alfredo Brofferio chose Gubbio
Owning already 50% of 'IL PALAZZETTO' I decided to buy the other 50% from my sister to maintain such valuable palace in the family and because Gubbio is one of the best place to live for a tourist and a retired person.
What makes this Apartment unique
Gubbio is considered one of the most fashinating place in the world due to its enviromental beauty, historical and artistic medieval attractions and gastronomic specialities.
