Why Annapolis Accommodations chose Annapolis

Welcome to our home which has been in our family for over 50 years. You will

like the marriage of Vintage beach house and large bedrooms and dining with

an incredible view of the Bay and so many sleeping areas.

What makes this house unique

Sunrise will delight you as the 2nd floor bedrooms view the Chesapeake Bay and are flooded with light. The crab boats empty the traps each day and there is a family of Osprey who return every year to their perch above the rock jetty on March 1st.

And a Bald Eagle has built a next down by Tolly Point, a short walk from our home.

Recharging your batteries in this idyllic community is a Natural!

Guestbook comments from the manager

My group urges me to express our sincere thanks to you regarding the July 4 weekend stay at your lovely house. We had a great time. The apples were delicious! Both adults and kids loved the campfire on the beach, which was something new in our life time. The ocean-view was terrific and rooms were comfortable. The neighbors were so friendly. One neighbor lent us kayak and surf board. And we had a lot fun with them. We also caught a lot of fish and had a few great fish feasts (thanks to your ice-packed cooler). We all wished we could stay longer and were talking about going back next year.

Again, thanks a lot for offering us such a great place to stay and enjoy.

Best Regards,

Amazing, Relaxing Beach Getaway so Close to DC!

  • 5 of 5

We had a phenomenal long weekend at this house - 6 adults, 5 kids. House is immediately across the street from the beach, lots of sand toys, chairs and mats. Perfect for families with young children, the beach is small enough to keep everyone contained but space for everyone to run around and swim. Front sun room is by far the best room in the house - we ate all of our meals and spent most of our indoor time there. 5th bedroom is a sleeping alcove without an actual door but that works out fine for us, we put the two oldest kids there. Highlight recommend this, we will be back next year! It's so close to DC (we live downtown), less than an hour.

Great Beach House

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of 7 adults and rented this house for three nights. The house worked very well for us. The view of the water from the front rooms is beautiful. Beach access is right across the street and down a short flight of stairs. There is a boat dock and a very nice beach. The house provides beach mats, umbrellas and everything else you need for a day at the beach so that's very convenient. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood and each day we took a long walk that made a loop along the shore. We went to Annapolis Seafood nearby and picked up fish one night and cooked them on the nice grill provided behind the house. The house has a good variety of bedrooms and the bathrooms are all good. The large kitchen was great for our group. The location makes you feel like you are away from it all but you are just minutes from Annapolis and a large selection of restaurants. Mike's Crabs was the best place we visited. I would highly recommend this property.

Family gathering

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed this quaint home on the Chesapeake Bay in Annapolis. Convenient for both quiet walks by the Bay and visiting the area sights, including the old town in Annapolis (just a few miles away). Also, the owner was very nice and accommodating. We would definitely return to this property.

Girls Weekend

  • 3 of 5

The house was at a good location and had enough space for 10 of us. The kitchen was well stocked but was

in need of some repairs (sticking utensil drawer, trim falling off of counter, no ice maker working in frig. This

house is stated it will sleep 14 however on arrival owner stated house plumping is old and unable to use all

showers at same time due to lack of water pressure and to be careful on amount of toilet paper usage. If

a house is not able to support the number of guests using bathrooms then it should not be recommended for

larger parties. We did love the front room with the bay view.

Owner's Response: This is a charming 1930's beach cottage with a long, happy history of being rented and loved by large groups. While it will comfortably sleep well over 10 people, any home, even more modern ones, will find its plumbing tested by the water usage of a large group. We alert potential tenants to these sorts of issues before their stay so that nothing comes as a surprise or inconvenience later in their stay. We wish every guest a happy stay.

Family Thanksgiving

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from a family reunion Thanksgiving at this beautiful house. The large well equipped kitchen was perfect for collaborative meal preparation. Seriously this kitchen is better equipped than my own. The large porch has fabulous views of the bay and was the perfect setting for our holiday meal. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for our group. It was perfect.

Annapolis Chesapeake Bay Charmer suitable for special family gathering indeed!!

  • 5 of 5

We utilize VRBO for many vacation lodging needs and can say this Annapolis Chesapeake Bay home exceeded our expectations in many ways. From the cordial and hospitable property management team and owners, right down to the comfortable-clean-quite-undisturbed property and surroundings, the private beach amenities, and the accuracy of the listing description.

Our weekend family wedding event was transformed from a special moment to a lifetime memory by staying here, (versus staying in an area hotel), and, if we are in Annapolis again for an extended period then we would welcome the opportunity to stay at this property again without any reservations. I would highly recommend this property to any relative or friend.

We also enjoyed the unrestricted view of the Bay from the front porch, the exclusive address, and the close proximity to historic downtown Annapolis... Also loved touring the US Naval Academy. Dinner recommendations? The grill provided with this rental in the backyard, the Main Ingredient, and the "Dry Dock" Restaurant on premise at the Naval Academy.

Hope you enjoy as much as we did!
