UPSTAIRS IS A LARGE MASTER BEDROOM WITH PRIVATE BATHROOM AND WALK-IN CLOSET, TWO OTHER BEDROOMS AND ANOTHER FULL BATHROOM WITH AN OVERSIZE LINEN CLOSET TO HOLD LUGGAGE FOR THE DOWNSTAIRS GUEST. OPEN BASEMENT NEWLY 3 EXTRA THICK SINGLE BEDS AND 3 OTHER SINGLE WITH 1 PORTABLE SINGLE BED IF NEEDED. Loveland is the Gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, and is a beautiful community balanced with all the outdoor sports and shopping availability but still maintains a small town way of life, close to Boulder, Longmont, Fort Collins and Greeley. I still find more and more things to do and see in the foothills of the Rockies.

What makes this house unique

This house is dedicated to my late husband, Captain Steven James Malais, who spent 20 years saving lives with the United States Coast Guard.

Very roomy and clean

This is the third year we have reserved the Cardinal house for family reunions. However, this July, with 11 guests, and 90 degree outside temperatures, the air conditioning became a problem. The owner was cooperative in having the issue resolved, but not before our guests spent three very uncomfortable nights. The house is very well equipped and easy to sleep three generations.

Decent but not amazing for the price

The layout of the home is great and the kitchen was well stocked. Laundry on site was a big plus.

Pretty disappointed the first 48 hours of our stay had a broken ac (and it seemed like the owner was aware since there were about ten fans left there). She did have it temporarily fixed after I contacted her (but needs a new ac unit) while we were there which I greatly appreciated as it was in the 90s for our trip but I would have appreciated a discount on our stay.

No shades, only curtains on windows (and home needs better curtain rods as the tension rods kept falling down) so you'll wake up early and internet is too slow to stream videos or download much.

Beds were *very* comfortable and location is fantastic, only minutes from lots of stores and activities. Owner is responsive to issues/questions.

Owner's Response: I'm sorry for the inconvenience of AC, I was not aware and had my AC company out the next day for the repair the house AC was working by end of day. I have fans in the house for guest comfort, Almost every room has a ceiling fan or a movable floor fan, I personal run a fans in my own house for comfort. I also have attic exhaust fan on auto to keep house cooler on hot days. Every room in the house has a lining and drapes for comfort and energy efficiency. I have not had any other complaints on the wifi but will look into it. Sorry you feel it was a problem and glad you enjoyed the rest of the house. Sincerely, Sherrie Malais

Perfect!

Our stay was great at the Cardinal House! It was very close to where our daughter's wedding was held and was very comfortable for all of us. My only suggestion would be to put up a bar in the showers for older occupants.
