This beautiful cabin is nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina. From the front porch you will have a breathtaking view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The elevation is over 3,000 feet, so you will be able to see the tops of the mountains nearby. If seclusion is what you're looking for, this cabin is located in a private neighborhood in the Smokies. However, you will have complete privacy as you will not even be able to see your closest neighbor.

One of the greatest things about this house is the ability to wake up and look out the sliding glass doors and experience the amazing views. The silence is also mesmerizing as nothing but the wilderness can be heard.
I took a last minute weekend trip here with my family and what a great find in this cabin! Dennis was great to work with. He suggested hikes and other activities, which were very memorable for all of us! We enjoyed using the wood burning fireplace. I also picked this place for the deep, covered porch which served us well because it rained almost the whole time, but we were still able to sit outside and enjoy the mountain air! There was a fully stocked kitchen, which was great because we baked a cake for a birthday we celebrated. Dennis was flexible with check in/out times since no one was coming or leaving on the days we were there. The biggest pro was that there were no hidden fees!!! Dennis did not charge extra for pets, cleaning fees, etc. It made our last minute trip very affordable without skimping on quality. We hope to get back sometime soon. Thank you, Dennis!
My husband and two young kids just returned from a week at the cabin and we absolutely loved staying there. Even before we arrived, Dennis sent us some information for where we can see elk and hike to a waterfall. The cabin is incredibly clean and well kept. It is fully stocked from cooking pots, soap, tissues, all we had to buy was food. It was wonderful to not have to worry about needing anything. The location is wonderful for getting into the national park or going into Asheville and the surrounding area. The view was spectacular and being on the deck was incredibly relaxing, it feels very secluded and quiet. We are excited to hopefully be able to go back one day. Thank you, Dennis!
We walked in this cabin and instantly felt at home! The cabin was spotless and a perfect location for getting away. There are neighbors, but you can't see their homes or hear anything other than the birds and leaves rustling in the breeze, or is the squirrels making the leaves rustle! We felt very secluded, which we liked, but close enough to Maggie Valley or Waynesville to buy essential items or do the touristy thing. So glad we found this cabin and VRBO....we want to come back sooner than later!
My mother and I spent a night here and wow, I wish we had been able to stay longer!!! The home was decorated wonderfully, so clean, well kept, and cozy! The view from the porch was stunning. Inside had everything we needed to cook up a nice meal. We absolutely loved it here, and will be back, hopefully for a longer stay!
Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) spent thanksgiving together here. It was perfect. It had everything we needed, including internet. It was warmly decorated and even had thanksgiving decorations! We would highly recommend this cabin to everyone. We especially appreciated the owner calling to check on us the first night to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks, to, for the snow -it was a nice touch.
When we opened the door to the cabin Friday night after a long drive from home, we were greeted with the wonderful sight of two comfy sofa-recliners in a warmly decorated living room, an attractive dining room and a sparkling clean kitchen with an open layout. The further we explored, the more we knew for sure that this was the place for us. The cabin is simply beautiful, and just what we were hoping for to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The views of the mountains are spectacular from the large porch; early morning coffee on the porch created long-lasting memories of peace and a connectedness with nature. The bird feeders attracted a variety of birds, my favorite being the humming birds. Inside, the cabin was spotless and really clean, with special touches that created an at-home feel - things like little soaps in the bathrooms, pretty towels and tissue boxes everywhere, as well as supplies I didn't think to bring. The queen-size bed was incredibly comfortable; we both slept deeply and felt great when we woke up the next morning. And, the shower/tub is refreshing - the hand-held shower head felt really good. We also enjoyed the tv and satellite service, as well as the wi-fi. The owner Dennis answered all our questions and was fabulous to work with. He definitely cares about this property - it is evident all throughout. We spent most of our time at the cabin, enjoying the outdoor space and the time together away from everyday demands. We cooked tasty meals in the kitchen for all our breakfasts, all but one lunch and all dinners, and found that everything we needed for cooking was there, except, of course, we brought the food.
Okay - you simply have to come here! It is perfect for a couple or a small family, and there are only four or five steps at the cabin's entrance, all with tread (is that what you call it?). The inside doorways are not wide enough for a wheelchair, but someone with limited walking capability (as I have) should be able to manage just fine in the cabin. We so loved having our little dog with us - she loved it, too! I definitely will recommend this cabin to family and friends. Thank you, Dennis, for your hospitality and your beautiful cabin - this vacation was a dream come true for us. We can't wait to return!
Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore House, Cataloochie Ski Resort, Pisgah National Forest, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and Harrah's Casino are nearby. Elk sightseeing is not too far away.
