Guestbook comments from the owner

We (four professional women in our 40s) loved this place. It's a quiet and tastefully decorated haven in a great location in P-town. Recently renovated, the finishes are modern and the space is immaculate. The owners were wonderful and responsive. When we arrived, we found a beautiful arrangement of flowers in the kitchen to kick off our much needed vacation. The location is terrific. It's in the quiet west end but close enough to town to park the car for the week and leave it untouched. The public town beach is a few hundred yards from the front door. It's the perfect place to launch an early morning walk on the beach with a cup of coffee from Relish or an easy afternoon walk to Tea Dance and a night on the town. It's also a serene place to kick back and relax - I recommend it highly.

Upgrade Your Stay!!

  • 5 of 5

Three of my friends and I had the pleasure of staying in this gorgeous condo over the NYE weekend. It is a beautiful home, lots of space and very well laid out. The rooms are huge, (loved our master suite) finishes stylish, kitchen with more than everything you need, and all very very clean. The weather was brutally cold so we reveled in mostly staying inside very snug and comfortable. Plenty of room to hang out whether mornings on the kitchen island, great dinners in the large dining room or cozy in the front TV living room. When we did venture out it was a quick walk to anything and the fireworks right down the street a few hundred yards to the beach. John and Jeff were a pleasure to work with reaching out with any info we needed.

I hope to be back next year!!

It's a second time we rent this house and it was perfect like the first time. The owners are very kind, the house is full equiped, well maintained, decorated with style. Very well located in quit residential area on the mean street (Commercial St.) but so close to evertything. I highly recommend.

Perfect home. Perfect location.

  • 5 of 5

I knew exactly where this house was when I booked it, but I did not know just how great my stay was going to be until I got there. I have been renting/visiting in Ptown for the past 6 years quite often, typically renting during 4th of July or Carnival week and visiting in the off season, but decided to bring my family down for the 3rd week in July. The location is the most perfect spot to bike or walk to anywhere in the town. The home is just on the bend of Commercial and it is both quiet, yet busy. I usually spend most of my time at the beach or dancing at night when in town, but I think I spent most of my time sitting in the two chairs in front of the house! Talk about an active spot! I didn't realize how many people walk by, say hello or even stop to chat. The cool thing about this house, other than the beauty of it, is that you can enjoy being in the thick of seeing people out front or escape to the oasis in the back. The side of the house has a great little area with tons of seating and grill. We spent a lot of time out there drinking wine and cooking. Even on the days that it rained, it was so great to sit outside as the surrounding houses are close, but the way the foliage and ivy have grown in make it a secluded area to relax and have privacy. Beautiful landscape, too!

We arrived to Ptown on the 9am ferry which gets in at 10:30am. Even though our check in wasn't until 3:00pm, John and Jeff graciously let us drop our bags off immediately. Fortunately for us, the cleaners were even done by 11:15am! We went for a quick swim off the Breakwater as it was high tide and headed back to the home. John greeted us, which isn't the typical for a Homeaway rental. He showed us the lay of the land, gave us our keys, and made sure we were set to go for the week! John and his partner Jeff also own the local Wildflower of Provincetown - the best unique retail shop the town has to offer! Not only does the shop have amazing finds for all types of people, but Jeff is the full service, in house florist! So you can go in, buy a vessel, pick out some gorgeous fresh blooms and be off with an arrangement for dinner. We were lucky, though, because along with the house rental, you are also greeted with a beautiful centerpiece for the week! An amazing touch to personalize the home in my opinion as someone who loves flowers.

My advice - rent this place while you can! It is my favorite rental I've had thus far and we even decided to do the same week here next year.

Awesome home and location.

  • 5 of 5

Updated home with newer furnishings. Reminds me of staying overnight in a Pottery Barn store. Fantastic location with parade of people walking and riding bikes in front of home. Great for people watching and meeting new friends.

The home was clean and well stocked. Loved the gas grill and back patio for evening BBQ. Plenty of seating for six people.

Will stay here again. I'm not sure you will find a nicer place. Pics on line do not do the home justice.

Beautiful house in perfect location

  • 5 of 5

Very tasteful decor, super spacious, great people watching from the front porch, lovely private back patio, we miss it already!! Kitchen was well equipped. We were happy to see that beach towels, chairs and umbrella were provided. House was very quiet, in amazing shape, very clean, hosts welcomed us with gorgeous flowers. Location was perfect - steps from the waterfront and the start of commercial street - everything was so accessible yet removed enough to be quiet. Extra bonus that we had a parking spot right next to the house. Nice flat neighborhood for walking and bike riding (no stairs or hills to deal with)! We would highly recommend this wonderful home and hope to stay there again!!

Beautiful & well maintained home on Commercial street

  • 5 of 5

We found John (owners) to be accommodating and friendly. We found the neighborhood to have beautiful architecture; the old firehouse converted to a home across the street. I liked the ability to just leave your front door and walk up commercial street.

The unit decor was stunning and we'll thought out. Granite countertops with island, formal dinning room and 3 Bedrooms. The best part for me is that I never ran out of hot water!
