Beautifully Maintained - 2 bdrm, 2 bthrm, on the Canal leading to the Caribbean

Enjoy the boats going by as you vacation at our lovely 2 bdrm 2 bthrm condo located on the Canal that leads to the Caribbean Sea. Enjoy the lovely breeze while lazing in the Hammock on our patio, or lawn beds on the patio or the pool area. All within the view of the boat dock and canal complete with Tropical Fish. Our condo is over 1700 square feet and is very tastefully decorated with dinner parties and entertaining in mind. Our kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare your meals (except the chef). We have a "Margaritaville" Margarita/smoothie maker, a lever juicer for fresh squeezed orange juice, a coffee maker and a Dulce Gusto maker.

If relaxing is more your style, our condo is very comfortable. We have a selection of books, a TV and a selection of DVD's. We watch the odd movie or series on Netflix on our Laptop. We have good WIFI.

The two bedrooms each have a queen size bed and very good wood furniture made in Guadalajara.

The beach is a 10 to 15 minute walk away in either direction. In town head through the Omni Hotel and to the right to spots along the sandy beach. Or head in the opposite direction to Phase 4 and to the Caleta. A sheltered inlet great for swimming or snorkeling.

Puerto Aventuras is a very safe, gated community between Playa del Carmen and Akumal. (45 minutes south of Cancun) Enjoy walking around the town where there is a dolphin discovery area, a variety of shops and very good restaurants. Or wander up to the Pueblo for tacos at El Arbolito's or groceries at the Chedraui. We have a parking spot in front of our unit and extra parking on the street.

We walk everywhere in town, sometimes we rent a car when we want to go further afield. We take the collectivo or Mayab bus at the top of the hill to go into Playa, Akumal or Tulum. It is a fast and affordable way to travel. There is an Oxxo store and a veggie market in Puerto.

About Mary and Jim Snidal

My Husband and I live in Nanaimo, BC. Jim retired in 2011 just before we purchased our condo. We have spent 2 wonderful winters at the condo and as many mini vacations as we get the time for. We are back to work in Nanaimo, I work for home as a bookkeeper. Jim is managing the Nanaimo Squash Club. I am also an artist and am enjoying my new hobby of painting watercolour heritage buildings of Nanaimo.

We dreamed of retiring in Mexico. We originally wanted to buy in Playa del Carmen, our realtor took us to Puerto Aventuras to look at a listing he had. We loved it the condo and the area. It is amazing that we own in such a beautiful condo is this fantastic area.

What makes this condo unique

We love the location on the canal. We get a gentle breeze originating from the Caribbean Sea. I love to walk down to our boat dock and see tropical fish right there, our own natural aquarium.

Enjoyable

Loved the condo. Well equipped and with everything we needed. We found it a 5 min walk to the marina. So ideal positioning. The condo was clean , tidy . We had only 1 problem. The lady upstairs with the 3 dogs the dogs howl and bark depending on who is in the house. The music played on Sunday drowned out the music we were playing by the pool. Great place just unfortunate you can't pick your neighbours.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. Sorry about the annoying neighbour. Her dogs can be annoying especially if she leaves them home alone. She is trying to sell her unit...so hopefully that will happen in the near future.

WE WERE AT THE CONDO FOR A MONTH AND DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE!!

IT IS ALL YOU NEED FOR A SUPER VACATION==WE WANT TO COME BACK FOR 2 MONTHS NEXT YEAR IF NOT BOOKED. IT CLEAN AND IMPRESSIVE FOR SURE==WE HAD COMPANY FROM THE US 3 TIMES AND THE ALL WANT TO COME THERE.
